Well, a lot of teams already have a policy of splitting back to backs in order to keep their goaltenders fresh.

Bertuzzi having mono is not as weird as Sestito getting the mumps when he was in England, but it's probably going to affect him all season.

Thanks for posting that. Since becoming a dad, I haven't really gone out of my way to find any new music to listen to. I knew Frusciante was doing solo stuff, but never really heard it since I don't really like RHCP that much anymore. This sounds really cool. Going to listen to some other stuff from that album on youtube.

Seeing Jagr at the top of the points race on nhl.com is just weird.

Defense wasn't very good, Marty had to make solid saves throughout the night. The goal we gave up on the penalty kill was fucking atrocious. Pee-wee shit. Puck was on the boards and all 4 of our guys go puck chasing. Hamonic gets the puck all alone in front of Marty.

The forechecking system is still looking strong. Matteau looks more NHL ready than I thought. Clarkson got his first of the season, so did Zajac. Good to see us bringing out 4 lines without any goons.

About 1/3rd of the jerseys I saw on TV were red, but we've got no fans :)
