I never saw him slash anybody. I thought it was for interfering with Holtby, but his body only like brushed by his arm, unless I missed him slash him before that.

IIRC, he had a hot hand, so they stuck with him through the playoffs, and moved Neuvirth to backup. When Neuvy was injured, they pulled up an AHLer goalie who played amazing for a bit. Now they all suck, but no one sucks less than anyone else, so their cunning plan is to rotate the goalie corral until someone does well, then they'll run that one into the ground again.
