Wtf. Put in the least effort last semester and do terrible, but for the first time, make an effort to get to know the professors. Best semester grades-wise.

Usually get A's and B's, but got all of the former this semester. Kind of ridiculous. I know I didn't get the percent required for one or two of them.

Yes. Profs who know your names are more lenient when rounding your final grade. Also, I was good friends with my comp sci prof once, and he saw my final somehow was way worse than my midterm, but he knew I understood everything, so he mostly ignored my final mark and gave me an A anyway. It was good.
Also, you probably put in more effort in general, not just professor-wise, but also study-wise, which also bumped your grade?

I think all we can do is hope there's something in the new CBA that allows for us to dump him. Bergevin has been very tight lipped on what he would do with him since he's gotten here, and basically given the media the impression he'll have a chance at training camp along with everyone else. I don't see him dumping him in the minors, but it's really hard to predict at this point.
Its all benefits. I hope hockey doesnt come back for 2 more years so we can dump more dead weight.
There's gonna be a shortened season when we get within a week or so of the drop dead date (first or second week of January). It makes no sense for this to end up in the courts. That's a massive gamble for both sides, and that's where it's headed if they don't settle.
It's just annoying that we have to hit a drop dead date before it's going to happen, but really, neither side has any significant pressure to make a deal until it gets to that point.

I'm not sure if any of you guys know this, but there was a guy on Youtube, MrLogue, who kept uploading TSN Top10 & general Jay&Dan videos, but got repetedly shut down by copyright claims. He created several copy-accounts to keep going, but they kept shutting him down, despite the official statement from Jay&Dan that they liked him. Now, TSN posted this on fb:

I don't think it's a massive gamble for the league. From what I've read (which may be skewed toward the league, I don't know) it seems like the courts will squash the PA's disclaimer of interest.
But let's say the courts accept the PA's dissolution, and the players go ahead and sue the league. Does that mean the league can effectively resume operations? My limited understanding of the laws that exist to prevent scab workers is that if there's no more union, there's no more lockout, and the teams would be able to recruit whomever they wanted.

Just finished a marathon of Homeland season 1 in 2 days, and I got to say I'm kind of disappointed =/ I've only ever heard amazing things about it, and while it's great it never reaches the hype for me that people have built around it. Hopefully Season 2 takes it up to that level.
