Fine, well he's generally just an idiot, but the past month puts him over the edge, short version:

~2 Weeks ago he finds out he may have a two year old daughter(He may be "1 of 3" guys apparently). He meets up with this chick and guess what, she's pregnant again!

Let's recap. He meets the chick who he slept with once ~3 years ago, finds out he may have a daughter, sleeps with this chick again with no birth control, and may have a 2nd daughter on the way before he even finds out whether the first one is actually his. Plus he just got "Daughter" tattooed on his arm for some reason, because spending hundreds of dollars on a meaningless tattoo is the smart thing to do when you've got a kid to provide for.

My brother has been living in NY for the last 6-7 years and addicted to cocaine for the last 2 while maintaining his alcoholism as well. Roughly 6 months ago his fiance (someone he had known for about 6 months) started talking about leaving him if he didn't clean his shit up and after not hearing from him for 2 years he finally starts calling his family. Only, it was to involve us in this elaborate fucking lie where he told us that she was this evil bitch who tried to kill him one night when, come to find out later, he was holding her in their apartment against her will and she felt like her life was in danger so she hit him over the head with a frying pan and left.

She ended up in jail for assault, went back to the apartment a few weeks later to collect her shit and he was at it again only this time he called me during all of it maintaining his lies that she was trying to kill him and blah blah. I hear her crying in the background, demand to talk to her and it took like 10 minutes of convincing until he gave her the phone. That's when I found out that he was lying about all of this shit. She left again after that and he climbed up to the roof of his apartment and threatened suicide. Three hours of my mom calling him to talk him out of it and him hanging up on her.

Fast forward about 2 weeks when his rent is due and he's calling us begging for money because he's blown it all on drugs. He ends up having to find a new apartment, the girl he was seeing comes back (she's also a huge fucking idiot) and they're engaged again. He's still doing a bunch of coke afaik, I haven't spoken to him since the suicide shit after I found out he was lying and manipulating all of us. Apparently he auditioned for a role as an extra on TWD yesterday according to my mom so that should tell you how far down the barrel they're scraping for minor roles.

Damn man. I'll admit he has my brother beat on the asshole part, but the stupidity may be equal.

My brother doesn't have any bills aside from a cell at this point, but has no money week to week because he spends it all on booze and drugs(only pot though as far as I'm aware). He still owes my parent's hundreds of dollars, but would rather spend his money on getting high, drinking, or getting stupid tattoos.

I don't think I've watched a Leaf game since the Winter Classic. I cut my cable and I've been focused on work + other hobbies lately... I picked a funny time to start following the Leafs/NHL again. Suddenly out of a wild card spot?? Fuck....

They asked him why he had Phaneuf out there with a minute and a half left when he has other defenseman who have more offense.

"Well with Dion, he plays with the 1 powerplay unit, and, when he made the pass across the blueline, on the first faceoff, I did consider uuuuuhhh making a change at that point but I think him and Franson have been the top pairing on our blueline as far as the offensive side of it all year. And in tonight's situation you know, he had a rough night."

So basically Carlyle is saying "I dunno, I figured they were better, even though he almost fucked up on the first faceoff with the empty net. Sure Gardiner might have been in on 2 goals and is more dynamic offensively, but what the fuck, I rolled the dice"

I realized Carlyle has just one year left on his contract. I'm not positive anything will be done regarding that department. Wouldn't Nonis prefer to bring in his own coach after one more year?

Edit: I love how on the Phaneuf failed clearing, Kulemin just skates into the path of the supposed shot forcing Phaneuf to hesitate. Do these players pay attention to what is going on around them? Jesus.

I love that this team always gives us hope and just completely takes it away in a flash. Wouldn't be surprised if they fail to show up tomorrow too besides Nyquist and the kid line.

NOOOOOOOOOOO now Dan Carcillo has the flu! This is like THE game that we would want Carcillo in!

No Kreider and no Carcillo on a night when Wayne Simmonds has already said they plan on playing physically to send a message to the Rangers since they know there's a good chance they'll be playing them in the playoffs is gonna suck. We're going to get fucking manhandled out there.

In other news, St. Louis and Stepan were back at practice today, so hopefully they're over their illnesses. John Moore was also skating today for the first time since being concussed by Blake Comeau in the game against the Blue Jackets last Friday. It sounds like his concussion was pretty minor by all standards, and he's been saying he feels pretty good for the last few days.

The Rangers have also recalled J.T. Miller from Hartford, so I guess he's replacing Kreider in the lineup tonight.

Carlyle is gone 100% if the Leafs miss the playoffs. Nonis will feel the heat from fans/media/ownership, and firing the coach is probably the best way to buy himself more time.

Apparently Kreider's hand injury actually occurred on Friday against the Blue Jackets. He didn't do anything to aggravate the injury during the two games he played while injured, but after being reevaluated, the team is shutting him down for the time being and surgery may be required. He will not be on the Rangers' 4 game road trip out west over the next week, at the very least. Not good.

St. Louis is going to be taking Kreider's place on Stepan's line.

So I'm guessing the lines tonight are:

St.Louis-Stepan-Nash
Zuccarello-Brassard-Miller
Hagelin-Richards-Pouliot
Boyle-Moore-Dorsett
