Good news, CapGeek has updated their buyout calculator to properly reflect signing bonuses! Good times fans of teams with one or two, uh, regrettable contracts cluttering up the roster!

SPOILER:

David Clarkson is 30 years old on the buyout date of June 15, 2014, setting the buyout ratio at 2/3 and the total buyout cost at $5,333,333, in addition to $24,250,000 in signing bonuses, spread over 12 years. His contract was originally valued at $36,750,000 beginning in 2013 and ending in 2020, with $8,000,000 remaining from the buyout year forward (which does not include $24,250,000 in remaining signing bonuses that are paid regardless of buyout). The following is a season-by-season breakdown of the buyout. A negative buyout cap hit indicates a credit.
BUYOUT DETAILS
Code:

Less amusingly but more importantly:

Haha, Chara got screwed there. That's a good goal all day. But oh well, Wings gotta get those Holmstrom goals back somehow.

Guess I'll wait for it to hit the bargain bin, which means I'll probably never play it.

It's absolutely not worth full price, and I'd say at best it's worth $30. It's not terrible, and it has some decent elements, but it's just mediocre enough that I still haven't finished it.

Ideally it should be a rental or sub $20 sale sort of game.

Talking about Thief? That game is trash. Whoever has created the last few games have no idea what made the original concept so interesting.

Any PS+ games for PS4 worth it aside from Resogun? I only have access to a PS4 for a few days and the only games I'm gonna play are Infamous and Resogun. Aside from that I have all the PS+ games but not sure how good they are

I'm trying to remember the catalog. I seem to recall something decent was coming this month.

Those are the two I'd get.

PS4 is pretty much exclusively a Resogun console. I enjoyed Infamous, but it was short, repetitive, and glitchy as all hell.

Should be noted that Resogun is a perfect classic gamer's game. If you don't like arcade style gameplay, might not be your cup of tea.

Oh that's right, Mercenary Kings is the PS+ game this month. That game seems alright.

Isn't that the Metal Slug style game?

Maybe I should turn on my console this month. I'm heading to PAX next weekend, so it's basically going to be "Hey, look at all the games you can't play on either of your consoles!"

Is it Mercenary Kings? Is it a good game? It didn't really strike me from what I've seen of it but I guess I could give it a try.

Yea I'm really looking forward to playing it

I'm not huge into horror games but I may give it a shot as well

Metal Slug meets Borderlands is what I've come to understand.

The Sens offence sucks without Spezza, and Maclean isn't helping by benching Karlsson :/

Our offence is so fucked without Spezza, yet some morons in this city still wanna run him out of town.

Desharnais is the Habs nominee for the Bill-Masteron, I guess the story of how he overcame how shitty his start to the season is the best we could come up with.
