3 on 3 seems really dumb. They call shootouts a skills competition and a gimmick, but how often do you see 3 on 3 happen in hockey?

3 v 3 is way better than a shootout, I would argue it's all speed and skill, slow players need not apply and makes for exciting and fast paced hockey.
