I absolutely think that's where Sakic is still starting all deals, or if not now, that's where it was being started. But our defense situation changed a lot over the off-season and while we do need help there it's not nearly as much of a need as it was last year. Nail Yakupov is playing on a line with Matt Duchene. That's where our wing situation is right now.

We decided years ago as a country that killing 6 year old kids in their schools is something we can live with. The only reason there's even the slightest glimmer of hope that something could happen this time is because of the sheer volume of first hand video footage from many many angles from right in the heart of this attack. All of the footage of this incident comes completely from the victims' perspectives, not from some outside view looking in.
We'll see if that fact moves the needle at all.
