Since I've been abroad for years, I've been pretty bad at following the NHL... but last season I actually watched the whole playoffs due to a very lenient time schedule, and this year I'll be trying to do the same for the regular season as well, at least one game a week anyways!

And since I will be in NYC for a couple weeks this winter, I'll make sure to go to a game. IT'S BEEN TOOOOO LONG

I'm not even excited for the start of the season. I'm sure once the game gets going I'll get into it, but the game 7 loss still feels so fresh for me. I don't want to sit through another 82 game season to get back to the place where the Canucks can actually do something about it.

Once the puck drops tomorrow and we get back into the swing of things I'll start to feel differently, but I haven't felt less excited the eve before a season in years.
