Jesus fuck I just got an email from the University saying that they are still going to admit students from those four countries in Africa who have been most affected by Ebola and that we aren't supposed to worry because they are going to have required doctor visits once a day.

How the fuck do you allow people from there to come over here? Quarantine everybody you dumb fucks. Don't allow anybody to come in here. Especially around me. Goddamnit.

Wrong account Smiley.

But it's Ebola

Just you wait NHL gaf. National US outbreak is going to start in Grand Forks, North Dakota and your boy Fubar McD is going to be one of the first victims. I'll be sure to give you guys a shout out when I'm in a bubble on the news.

Like we needed any more reason to dislike UND fans.....

Because the worst hockey fans I've ever been around have been UND fans?

Fair enough. Lots of people up here are obnoxious.

Not a fan of college hockey so I really don't have a horse in the race. Just found it odd how somebody who is a fan of the Blackhawks, arguably the one NHL team with the biggest connection to UND, wasn't a big fan.

Toews, Belfour, and Schmaltz isn't enough of a connection to really matter.

Chie is the worst waifu
god dammit :lol

edit: unrelated... I just saw Kat in a Mac commercial. That was weird.

sKPjxqI.png

When I first saw that commercial, I had to rewind it to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Sure enough, there's Chii in a fucking Mac ad.
GAF hating on the ALS ice bucket challenge.

That ain't right.

We have people here that were saying that Pyongyang would be a nice place to visit.

This doesn't surprise me.

You are going to have to catch me up and teach me a lot about Florida Panthers hockey

I am truly embarrassed to share my knowledge and I will try to avoid asking embarrassing questions such as
Does Beezer still play and do we still throw rats on the ice

I do know we drafted a defenseman #1 overall!

Also I was kidding about that first question in the spoilers lol. Not sure about the 2nd...

Prepare thyself....

It's time for Mr. 305, Worldwide #lil'Chico #DALÉ RUNDOWN!

Brought to your by DALÉ Ministries. DALÉ Ministries: Y'all need Jesus.

We'll start at the top.

GM DALÉ Tallon who came into the org in 2010 after years of mismanagement with a blueprint and a plan to stockpile picks and prospects to draft and rebuild the Panthers from the inside out. Only problem was that the org had very few tradable assets and even less prospects in the system. Through wheeling and dealing and a little fleecing he came out on top and assembled the best prospect pool the Panthers have ever seen and arguably the best in the NHL.

THE YOUNG GUNS

Headlined top picks in 2010 (3rd), 2011 (3rd), 2013 (2nd), and 2014 (1st) DALÉ Tallon assembled a crack team of prospects to make an impact on the ice in Sunrise. They are lead by.

Johnathan Huberdeau #11 (2011 3rd)

Huberdeau is a 6'3'' flashy winger drafted from the Saint-John Seadogs where is their all time leader in points. His poses astute stick-handling and playmaking along an great Hockey IQ. Also won the 2013 season Calder trophy for rookie of the year. Hubey amanaged to score on his 2nd shift, 1st shot in the NHL.

Also made Bryz rage quit with a little penalty shot move.

Nick "The Bjuggernaut" Bjugstad #27 (2010 19th)

Bjugstad towers as a 6'6'' center-man. The Mighty Minnesotan, even with his height he is an exceptional skater both laterally and in a straight line. His agility only topped by a rocket of a shot and an ability to plow through defenses with the puck still on his stick.

Aleksander Barkov jr. #16 (2013 2nd)

18 Years old. This kid is still 18 years old. He became the youngest player to score in the NHL since WW2, Kid is the next big thing from Finland, he has been in pro leagues since 16 and will be the future #1 C for the Cats for a long time. Playing a game similar to Anze Kopitar, he is cerbral player able to think plays before they happen and poses +++++ hands to match his size and skill. This kid is one to watch every time on the ice. He may not make the highlight reel with flash but his game is beautifully refined making all the right plays you would expect from a seasoned vet , at 18.

Aaron Ekblad #5 (2014 #1)

Ekblad was drafted 1st overall primarily for his hair which maintains form through the most adverse of conditions. He's 6'4'', skilled two way defenseman with a rocket of a point shot . Expect him to make the team this season, though he'll see sheltered minutes on the 3rd pairing with PP time.

Return of the King

Last season around the trade deadline DALÉ Tallon was able to work a trade between Vancouver to return long time Florida netminder Roberto Luongo for a bag of half eaten chips and an uncooked moldy muffin. The all time leader in shutouts, wins and games played for a Panther goalie.

New Coach

Coming into this offseason the team has had quite a bit of a facelift in players and in coaching staff along with the front office. The coach brought in is Gerard Gallant of Red Wings fame as a tough goal scoring player. He joins the Panthers from his previous gig a an assistant in Mothreal and was HC of Huberdeau's jr. team that one the Memorial Cup.

How so? The has had them 4 of the last 5 (2012 was a playoff spot) . From a rebuilding point the team is ready to transition to a contender. 2010-11 was the teardown and stockpile picks. 11-14 was the stopgap period for the youth to develop and now the bulk of those are at the pro level. The pool is still in the top 3rd of NHL even with graduations of top talent. Tallon has hit on the late picks as well. Barkov/Bjugstad/Trochek/Shore is excellent C depth. Huberdeau/Grimaldi/Pirri/Howden/Wilson/Bickley is great depth on the wings. Ekblad/Matheson/Kulikov/Gudbranson/Raccine/Downing are the top D guys. There are plenty of prospects at every position and even enough to shore up areas by trading some of the depth.

So no the team doesn't need more lottery picks, it needs the kids already in to have support and take the lead of the team.
