Quebec City and Seattle for new NHL franchises are what I'm hoping for. The south has enough teams with money issues as it is and a potential franchise in Vegas, after the initial shine wears off, would be just as desolate as the desert that surrounds it, I'd imagine.
I'd love for a return of the Nordiques name and the revival of the French rivalry that was between them and the Habs. Seattle would be a nice rival to the Canucks, I'd wager, plus I think the market is more viable there than Vegas.
Just my random thoughts on the matter.

Can you elaborate on this, please? Do you mean that the league doesn't want another small market team? Because, aside from that, I'm pretty sure the league wishes that it's bigger market teams had about even half as much support from fans and ticket sales as we give our team.
