We're also located near car dealerships. Basically we want people to live that car culture. Buy a car.

There are a lot of passionate HOCKEY fans in and around the GTA than there are hockey fans on the Isle and NJ (apologies to Teethmummy and whomever that one Devil's fan)

Additionally, there's are a lot of people who would pay good money to go see an NHL hockey game here that 'would' if the cost of a Leaf game and availability were a lot better. I think we could easily fill both a Leafs home game and a Toronto 2 home game at the same time.

I don't doubt the passion of Toronto fans at all. I bet Toronto could fill an arena twice the size of the ACC for the Leafs. It's more will that passion translate to going to pay to see another team. Chances are, Toronto 2's tickets will still be pretty steep.

Even the Rangers have been in the shadow of the greatest team in the last 40 years, the Penguins.

Quebec City and Seattle for new NHL franchises are what I'm hoping for. The south has enough teams with money issues as it is and a potential franchise in Vegas, after the initial shine wears off, would be just as desolate as the desert that surrounds it, I'd imagine.

I'd love for a return of the Nordiques name and the revival of the French rivalry that was between them and the Habs. Seattle would be a nice rival to the Canucks, I'd wager, plus I think the market is more viable there than Vegas.

Just my random thoughts on the matter.

Can you elaborate on this, please? Do you mean that the league doesn't want another small market team? Because, aside from that, I'm pretty sure the league wishes that it's bigger market teams had about even half as much support from fans and ticket sales as we give our team.
