JESUS FUCK I WANT TO BREAK THINGS
Friedman says the Habs weren't willing to overpay, good to see and bodes well for avoidance of Belesky.
supposedly Kapanen is our 3rd best prospect now.
I don't like this trade one bit. Maybe if there was no salary retained...fuck...
retained 2M per year???
Arthur Staple ‏@StapeNewsday 1m1 minute ago
If TOR retain $2m of Kessel's salary, PIT still has $37.2m of cap space tied up in 5 players. That seems... Unsustainable.
Malkin going somewhere maybe?

Did Kessel just get traded from the worst first line center in the NHL to the best?

2011/12 - current most points by a winger:
1) Ovechkin: 281
2) Kessel: 275
3) MSL: 255
4) Kane: 254
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Kessel trade could be bigger hearing Spaling involved and Pitt also gets Torontos 2nd round pick.
No one has said anything yet
Something is going to happen. That's a 2-line team at best.

Steve Simmons said:Phil Kessel traded for next to nothing - and it's a good deal for the Leafs. Really he had to go
Oh man, 2nd rounder to Pitt confirmed.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Also told Toronto is eating between15-25% of Kessel contract.
