Why did the Leafs go out and sign those two Swedish defencemen if they're gonna go sign Hainsey for too much and not even let them have a chance to play??

Nashville's probably not getting much for Colin Wilson. Dude had a mediocre season (not as awful as Craig Smith, but not very good) and didn't show up for the playoffs like he usually does. Overpriced for what he does.

They're paying him as a second pair guy - so if he bounces back from last year it's fine but if he sticks on the third pair he'd be making a million per year more than 'ideal'. Not good, but not a disaster especially as he'll be replacing Stuart/Chiarot who are much worse than Kulikov was last year.

Three years is ok at his age.

Botterill seems awesome so far. I'm excited for the Sabres. Throw in Antipin on D and this could be a quick turn around.

Watch Eichel have a banner year and get an 8x11m contract.
