Thank fuck the Leafs didn't hire him. I'm not sure what he said to Leafs management to almost get the job, but the rebuild would be completely stalled with this dead-puck buffoon behind the bench.
Dopey #2 thank you for another great opinion.

i know people with leafs shrines
You said that as if you're looking in a mirror.
Jays are 1-7 and Leafs playing playoff game tonight, I imagine the Jays attendance will be stellar tonight.
Seriously though i'm a little worried about the state of the Canadiens in Montreal.
10 years ago we got a great marketing push and it became "cool" again to like the Habs, the number of jerseys and t-shirts you would see just walking around was off the chart, and during the playoffs EVERYONE had the little flag thing on their cars
I have seen exactly 0 flags so far this year, and 1 jersey yesterday coming home from work. My dad told me he was at La Cage au Sport (popular sports restaurant) and it was half empty... You had to be there HOURS in advance for a regular season game back then.
might be a little anecdotal and I might be wrong, but I feel like there's 5% hype and 95% old farts "yeah but back in the 70s" cynicism

Dude I was at Habs/Bruins Game 3 in 2014 and there were jerseys everywhere, thousands of people outside the Bell Centre, and La Cage was lined up down the street.

Imbask, if it helps, I've only seen one car with a Leafs flag in my area.
In terms of jerseys, probably none. But I do see a lot of Leafs gear in general - hoodies, shirts, and hats.
My Mazda 3 is the pinnacle of AERODYNAMISM
0-100 in 20 seconds baby, I live my life 1/16th of a mile at a time

I'm against putting any shit on cars be it stickers, flags, etc. *old man yells at cloud
and we can't turn right on a red light
Do you people still use rotary phones too?
I would probably take imBask in a race against anyone in NHL-gaf.
Montreal drivers are a special breed of crazy
No one does that flag on car shit anymore.
IT RUINS THE AERODYNAMICS!!

I saw a drop in my car's mileage after I put my car flag on
Worth it to support the Sens though

I say 8-1 Caps tonight
Which means the leafs still have more goals than Habs.
I say 8-1 Caps tonight

My mazda3 rusted up like a bitch, got rid of it 3 years ago.
Stick shift hatchback is still one of the funnest cars I have driven in a while, except for maybe the Fiesta ST.

Mike Babcock: "If I'm not mistaken four road teams won last night, right?"
Translation: Matthews hat trick. Marner hat trick. Nylander hat trick. Leafs win, 10-0 (Kadri with 1G). A shaken Ovechkin retires during second intermission to focus on the upcoming PyeongChang Olympics.
I could outdrive imbask and his go-kart any day.I would probably take imBask in a race against anyone in NHL-gaf.

If I ever buy a car again its going to be stick shift. Thats the only way to drive.God I wish you could still buy a stick shift truck.
Yeah, if only the season had a chance with a goalie NOT missing 54 games, shut the fuck up.
And this is the reason we won't be seeing Line on GAF for a few days.
