Ay guys, did you save up your money to give to the mad scientist dude along the way or are you just buying out all the chip upgrades slots and whatnot?

Also, I'm having a really hard time differentiating between different weapons of the same class. Is it just me? Any small swords you guys like more than others for any reason?

I have a few small and a few large swords up to level 3, but they all feel completely interchangeable within their small/large classes as I see no meaningful difference in how combat works between any of them.

I felt the same way. They don't even really vary in damage. The only weapons that stand out are the ones with +crit.

Ancient Overlord seems to be the best. Having Crit plus creating shockwaves upon striking the machine bullets is pretty dope.

Engine Blade is also very powerful, on top of giving you some sweet effects. Other than that... yea, it's pretty interchangeable.

I think making a bee-line for chip capacity is the best thing you can do with your money.

Pumping money into the scientist is generally low priority for the reward.

And the weapons buffs become more diverse when you get them to level 4.

Route B is maybe like.. 60% overlap of content, though you're playing as a different character and speeding through them.

Route C is all brand new and slightly longer than A or B. Considerably longer if you do all the new sidequests.

I think this has been answered a few times, but I would say it's like this:

Route A (All Unique Content)
9-25 hours depending on the number of sidequests you do.

Route B (20-30% Unique Content)
6-20 hours depending on how many sidequests you left unfinished in the first Route and how many you do.

Route C (All Unique Content, some areas reused)
8-10 hours

Route D (All Unique Content)
Less than an hour

Route E (All Unique Content)
Less than an hour

Edit: It took me about 38 hours for Endings A-E and I did over 80% of the side quests.

After you erase his memory then come back to the village, you monster.

If you're doing chapter select, I believe you have to do the very last part of that section and erase his memory. You can't just warp to the next chapter and have him there.

Final boss in hard mode + Vita remote play bad controls = major pain in the ass.
Man, that ending was already so powerful to me, and so uplifting! I guess Yoko Taro really went and made a good ending for once, even if of course this is the first one, i have a feeling the next ones are going to be depressing as fuck lol

Made myself a cold on the rocks and I'm gonna play through again.

I've been saving every 5-10 minutes and as soon as I hit A2 I'm gonna made two saves.

People kept saying but I just brushed it off as wishful thinking.

I was wrong.This game finally pulled JRPGs from utter story telling mediocrity of the past decade+ or so.(imo)
