Since razor's edge had several playable extra characters, and it looks like 2 black also has a bunch of extra characters, I wonder if 4 will have at least ayane as well; if they aren't in by default I can see them selling some kind of character pack down the line.

If anything, a slight zenkai boost from Platinum Games will do them some good.

I don't think that means anything, clearly all the lore is still in tact with the dark dragon and ryu hayabusa being there; it just means they are adding on to it with new stuff for the new character, pretty much the same thing they did with Nero for dmc.

Depends on what they do. NG3 had Momiji, Ayane and later even Kasumi as bonus characters. Wonder if Rachel will return.

Only thing I'm a bit skeptical on at first watch is the cutscene finishers. I hope it's not nearly as bad as NG3, they ruined the game with those.
