Ninja Gaiden 4 Releases October 21, 2025

I disagree bender, the Nioh games are ARPGs with movement exclusively on the X axis (aka "cement feet®") with emphasis on builds and the character has almost zero mobility besides some weapon pre canned animations and as for MGS Rising...while I love the game it's still not exactly on the same character action game® level as DMC, NG and even Bayo (it sounds weird, I know).

As for Sekiro...the only thing in common with a NG game is the fact that you control a dude wielding a sword.

Dude's off his rocker basically 😁

I guess I'm speaking more generally with where my hopes for NG4 lie. Maybe Bayo 3 is the better example since Rising is further in the rear view, but NIOH 2 is pretty recent...and they are all much closer in that rear view mirror than NG2. That's a convoluted way of saying that I don't have a ton of faith in this project.

Name dropping Sekiro, MGS rising and especially Nioh 2, games that have absolutely fook and all to do with NG2 is just...wow
He has a point with Nioh since Nioh series is same universe as Ninja Gaiden. Yes it's a thing.

The only thing MGR has to do with NG4 is the Platinum Games influence. And you can see it in some places.

Looks like NG3 infused with Platinum Games action as far as I can tell.
