Seeing how long it took for them to make the engine for BOTW its understandable they want to reuse it.

This was really great news, probably the highlight of the entire E3 for me. Despite how many issues I have with BotW, it's still a really fun game and I feel like they can easily fix these issues for the next one. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the environments/story direction might be like.
