Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

Excited and sad at the same time.
This thing won't be the same without Iwata.
Hope they release at least one bomb tho. It's been a long time.

All I want is DLC for all the big games that have already been out for a while.

Even Mario Kart(extremely doubtful).

Splatoon, bring it.

Mario Maker, brought it bring.

And of course, the most important announcement of all...against the odds, FUCKING WONDER RED IN SMASH.

"Yeah, it's Kimishima. Do it."

Lol. It's kinda funny how different t Kimishima's expression is from Iwata (RIP).

Direct Predictions:
- Splatoon: Octolings playable, new weapons (hydra probably), and new maps announced - comes out Friday
- Smash: Ballot characters announced, first character immediately after Direct
- Xenoblade X - new trailer showing off localization
- Fire Emblem: Fates and # release date (gameplay video) - Fates Feb, # April
- Pokemon: Z announced, Snap remastered for Wii U, Pokken gameplay - Z Feb, Snap Nov, Pokken May
- Pikmin: 4 announced, teaser trailer (no gameplay or release date)
- Indie trailer reel (Yooka-Laylee?)
- Couple of casual/party games
- amiibo rpg, free to download, immediately available, level up amiibos to fight against others

Don't they usually announce Directs the day before? It would have also made sense that way since the Japan announcement could have been announced simultaneously with NA/EU, presuming that Japan is even getting one.

It starts at 12 am here, not sure if I should watch it. I have class at 8 am in the morning the next day but this is the first Direct since E3. Tough decision. T_T

Hell yes! I am so happy that we're finally getting another Direct after all this time. I don't care what they announce, I'm just glad that the Directs are finally making a return.

Assuming its a 30-40min one I'm in all honesty expecting a decent chunk of it, like 10 or so minutes, to be the usual spiel of talking about how recent releases like Woollly World or Triforce heroes are doing well and out now before getting to the real meat of the presention... a whole nother 10 minutes dedicated to X for the thousandth time.

I feel like this will be a let down of sorts.

Mostly things/games we already know about getting more screentime and release dates and maaaaaybe one solid reveal but nothing too big.

I get the feeling Nintendo has simply moved on and we are in the push out what we have left phase still.

Twilight Princes HD sounds like the obvious thing we'll get out of this, and I would fucking love that.

The thing we won't get out of this that I'd like to see? Well, I mean... it won't be F-Zero or Metroid, but I'd kill for Xenoblade HD or something. Porting that game to the 3DS was the opposite of what they should've done.

I know this is trendy to say but they are not going to spend 10 minutes on how those games sold.

Confirmed no NX or mobile talk

The biggest 3DS upcoming release is Paper Jam, right? And they're going to try to spin Mario Tennis WiiU as the big holiday release.
