God damn it, that is not Bravoman.

Hey look Vroom in the night sky is out now, if you're curious for Magical girl biking.
Part of me wanted to try it since it seemed kind of "stupid, but in a good way"/"so bad it's good", but the few reviews out there seemed to think it was just flat-out bad, especially for $10

The trailer on the eshop is teeeeeeeerrible.

It gave me a Goat Simulator type of vibe, but I wasn't a fan of that game because it felt like a "streaming"/reaction game & the joke stopped being funny a minute after playing because you're expecting it compared to a random glitch in a game that runs fine 99% of the time.

I'll probably just skip it unless it goes on sale for $2 or something.

There is nothing redeemable about that game at all I'm afraid. Not even from a "watch someone stream it and laugh at it" standpoint. It's just boring.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!

Pokemon Picross is fine. I didn't pay for it. You just need to take your time, do the daily training to unlock new worlds. If you see it as your daily Picross which takes 5-15 minutes a day, it's great.

I paid $5 for it to show support for the game. I'm almost done with the game but I still do the daily challenge to continue racking up the picrites. The only thing I find annoying is that some of the puzzle challenges are impossible to do without doing a puzzle multiple times and/or memorizing a few key rows. I like it for a different take on the picross e series.

Picross 3D Round 2 is another good game to pick up for those who don't know about it.

Mega Picross will always be my favorite variation.

I didn't think FE DLC would be on sale again. I tried getting DLC for Fates but couldn't for not playing the game before. How long does it take to have that option? And does it apply for Awakening as well?

right after the opening prologue basically. doesn't take long at all. a few hours if you take your time. it opens up once you can pick the path after chapter 5 (which means 5 maps, most of them really short and straightforward since it's the opening).

similarly fast in Awakening (possibly faster, don't remember)

Fates has 2 packs that have all the DLC? I remember 1 of them not being worth it while the other has significant story DLC, is that right? I think it was DLC pack 2 that is worth getting?

DLC for Awakening is very confusing though. There isn't 1 or 2 packs that have all the DLCs? Which ones are worth getting and which can be ignored?

Any GAF impressions of Graceful Explosion Machine? NintendoLife IMO tends to rate things high and I've also read a couple of luke-warm reviews calling it repetitive. I'd love another cool shooter but perhaps I'm better off with Alpha Mission 2?

Maybe they'll bother to release it in my country if it hits the Switch.

wouldn't country be irrelevant on Switch, considering it's region free and you can make a secondary account with the game's country in 5 minutes?

Really happy the TG-16 releases are continuing for the Wii U. I keep expecting them to shut things down any minute, but hopefully this is a sign they're committed to the 13 million Wii Us out there for a few months yet. There are a ton of TG-16 games I'd love to see make the transition.

Star Soldier is freaking awesome, but I've already played it to death. No particular interest in World Sports, but looking forward to more titles ahead (Neutopia II plz).

Super Star Soldier is one of the best TG-16 shmups, people really need to pick it up.

Glad to see Konami continuing to support Wii U VC, just wish I could finally upgrade my copy of Gradius III.

Sony's PS Vita initially allow multiple accounts. Then they limit it to one account.
What's stopping Nintendo from doing so since 3ds only allowed one account?

Canada right? According Nintendo Canada website it's there but has a "N/A" has it's price: http://www.nintendo.com/en_CA/games/detail/animal-gods-wii-u hmm.

It sucks, but it is just two people from West Virginia. Probably not within their reach to do an international release.

costs them nothing, though. there's countless games in English-only.

It cost $0. IARC is free rating for North America / Europe / Germany / Australia. Hell, even without IARC North America is STILL free. All that is required is getting the eShop game Description translated into French. Which, is easy.

Assuming not a Nintendo Canada eShop issue, being a 2 person team is meaningless and lazy excuse. I am a 1 person team (Well, more like 2 person team with Drop It: Block Paradise).

I released ZaciSa's Last Stand in North America in July 2014. After releasing it and adding updates, I got started on the very long process of getting it out in Europe (I had no idea what I was doing at the time). This included paying over $700 for ratings for PEGI & USK to get it released in all of Europe + Germany. I also took the VERY painstaking task of having every sentence / word in game translated into Spanish, French, Germany & Italian. That took me several boring weeks to adjust in game. Eventually, got rated, got submitted & approved and finally released in Europe (+ Australia once IARC became available later 2015)

If I can do that, then no one has any excuse. Hell, Nintendo has since made the process of submitting games/etc much easier. Their online dev portal has been made better, no longer do I have to fill out long excel files. IARC is integrated so already got a free rating for the world.

With the current sale I bought Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon today. Since it is the only FE released in the West that I don't own, I thought it was an opportune time, even though I won't play it till after Echoes.

However I did try it out briefly and I have to say so far I am not enjoying DS Virtual Console. I don't yet know how to position the screens. Anyway, I hope I will get used to it.

What I did love, however, was going back to the Wii U eShop and hearing nice music. Reminds me how much the Switch eShop could still be improved.

At long last, my final Wii U game, Drop It: Block Paradise, has finally been submitted to Nintendo! Hope to get it out by end of May.

Anyone know if a UK eShop code for a game will work on an EU account? Specifically Ireland. I know currency codes will not, but not sure about games.

Debating getting MK8D digitally from amazon.co.uk.

EDIT: Nintendo direct 12th April. 3DS and Switch, focus on Arms and Splatoon 2.

Thanks guys. They are already checking it out & uploading user levels to my servers. It's neat seeing what they try to create.

Awesome for Jackbox. I love that games. Totally getting this one.

Any GAF impressions of Graceful Explosion Machine? NintendoLife IMO tends to rate things high and I've also read a couple of luke-warm reviews calling it repetitive. I'd love another cool shooter but perhaps I'm better off with Alpha Mission 2?
Got it a few days ago and I love it. I'm working through the first world trying to get at least B ranks on everything right now.

The competing forces of a main cannon that overheats if overused, energy requirements for your three aux weapons (energy sword, missiles, and the sniper for taking out big enemies from a distance), and the spawning of new enemies feels really well-balanced. I managed to combo an entire phase of a level once only to die later—it felt really good but also drove me to go back and try again immediately.

Disclaimer: I don't have a ton of experience with shooters, so maybe the genre has better. This one has got me right now though. Good stuff.

EDIT: Soundtrack is coming out soon too. https://robbyduguay.bandcamp.com/album/graceful-explosion-machine-original-soundtrack

Yeah this game is a joy to play. Getting better and besting old highs chores has been pretty fun so far. The mechanics you described all work really well.

Not sure if this is the place to mention this but So I have learned something very curious pertaining to a potential release of the Turok remasters on the Nintendo Switch.
