Oh, Tadpole Treble is out this month? I wonder if it'll have a demo, I just know it was by the guy who did the Brawl in the Family comic, which was great.

Well, you are welcome to remove "GulAtiCa's Wii U Virtual Console Games List" from the list. Haven't updated it in years! lol

Anyways, thanks as always for the new thread. :)

Got myself a deadline to finish Drop It: Block Paradise! in the next 2 months, pretty much on the final stretch. Been working on this game for almost 2 years now.

Okay, so, this is a personal and somewhat complex web of nonsense involving a highly unstable individual I was friends and briefly FWBs with, but I can only assume there will be a never-ending clusterfuck on gaf now until the end of time, which inevitably involves you guys and gals on the mod team in some way, so I'm an open book here. The woman in question ended up being completely psychotic and held a grudge against me after a bizarre love triangle situation developed a few years ago between me, her, and another girl (the other girl I ended up in a long-term relationship with shortly thereafter). This NOLA story she apparently just put up on social media is a delusion of a deeply disturbed person who had a total psychological breakdown as a result of me and the other girl getting together, because she (phew, yeah...) became obsessively infatuated with the other girl (she's bi) on sight when the three of us met up. I wanted to just stay friends with the girl making the accusation and made it super super clear ahead of time that me and the other girl were interested in each other romantically and that could play out as such when we met up. Supposedly this was not a problem for her from accusation, but in reality she uhhh wanted me to die painfully after seeing me and the other girl interact. Plus she became infatuated with the other girl simultaneously to this (she's bi), which created the aforementioned bizarre love triangle that ended up causing her to implode and have an apparently very intense and long-lasting grudge. The whole story about how that love triangle thing played out is, frankly, nuts and scary, and involves this girl bringing us to a compound of dangerous scientology spinoff cultists on that same trip, who roofied us, attempted to recruit/scam me and attempted to abduct/rape the girl I ended up dating, in what was a fucking scary situation that resulted in me and the other girl and the rest of my friend circle never speaking to this girl from the accusation again.

Nothing new for wii u? I smell a direct coming.............
"Look, here's another look at Color Splash, it's NOT gonna be as bad as Sticker Star, we promise, & here's more Pokemon S&M for you

......also here's a crapton of eShop & VC titles, hopefully that should hold you until we reveal the NX."

Kind of got the feeling aside from Federation Force & Style Savvy (both of which I have no interest in), this is gonna be a slow month....

I hope for your sake you're joking. Because no. :)

Stop using the PR as an indicator for anything. Bad idea. Times have changed.

Also fucking hell, RCMADIAX invasion of poopy games.

It's a good month for a Nintendo Direct, month/month and half before NX's presentation.

Gameplay of releases until end of the year, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing mobile news, some Virtual console surprise (Pokemon Snap), Nindies reel and Kimishima showing his dick.

It actually doesn't sound completely unreasonable for there to be a direct this month.

There isn't going to be anything new for Wii U outside of indies and maybe a special VC thing, though.

Time for Mother 3.

I've actually fully moved on from believing in Mother 3 GBA and am now firmly on the hypetrain for a "Goodbye 3DS" polygonal 3D remake which would make far more sense since the new release would justify the localization costs and have more potential to reach people overall.

edit: you know, since we've entered crazytown.

Anything interesting that we'd actually care about has been moved to NX to encourage us to buy NX. Same reason Earthbound never came out on Wii VC and only Wii U VC.

Almost forgot about the new thread, thanks as always.

I'm just hoping Wario Land : Shake it comes to the eshop for US. Otherwise not really seeing anything for myself this month.

Wow, I thought a few weeks ago was bad, but they keep managing to outdo themselves in the 'nothing for me this week' thing!

TG16 Dragon's Curse to redeem yourself next week please Nintendo!

I don't even think Japan has that yet I know, a man can dream!

Is there any retail way left to get Bayonetta 1 Wii U without paying a limb? If not, how much better is it than the 360 version really?

a) there is only one SKU with Bayonetta 1 for each region (ignoring the super limited first print don't bother edition) so... no?
b) off-tv, touch mode, nintendo costumes with unique gimmicks, pro controller? your call.

Don't forget the performance improvements. The difference isn't too big, but the Wii U version does perform best overall.

I think I've read conflicting things about that, at least in some parts of the game. That's why I didn't mention it one way or the other. Maybe I'm misremembering.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-bayonetta-wii-u-face-off
Bayonetta on Wii U - the Digital Foundry verdict

Taking the spread of games released by Platinum into account, it could be argued that the Wii U version of the original Bayonetta is the fastest-performing console game released by the studio to date, and in that sense it's a bit disappointing that the sequel fails to match the performance level set by its predecessor. While the massive increase in set-piece complexity in Bayonetta 2 is certainly exciting, it definitely comes at a cost. In that sense it almost feels like the original Bayonetta is the more finely tuned experience.

Alongside the likes of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Bayonetta stands out as one of the best ports available on the Wii U. It's clear that a lot of time and effort was poured into this release in order to preserve and in places improve upon the original experience. While it's not dramatically superior to the original Xbox 360 version, we'd have to give it the nod as the definitive version of the game. The elimination of screen-tear, faster loading, and solid performance levels make a huge difference. Whether you've played the original release or not, this is a great way to experience Bayonetta. The fact that it comes packed in with most versions of Bayonetta 2 makes it one heck of a bonus.

Digital Foundry seems pretty confident in it.

Even better, I just thought I remembered someone complaining about something somewhere. But I guess that shouldn't be surprising... :D

Wasnt it something to do with the colours being slightly different?

That's probably just leftover from a Tilmen video since he had a shitty capture setup and used to do comparison vids and his Wii U stuff always looked washed out or something because he didn't set the thing up right. Guessing.

Any word on when mega man X will hit the 3ds eshop for NA?

We don't know when games release.

On Wednesday you can find the following day's VC games on Nintendo.com, before then nobody knows anything about upcoming VC games.
