Blaster Master Zero DLC is up in Japan for free. The DLC no one asked for but ended up being neat anyway. The game now has five different character playthroughs + Destroyer and Infinite Mode.

On the eShop itself or in-game? If eShop, 3DS DLC has to be bought via an in-game shop.
The fact that the game has online features makes it a Day 1 for me. I hated how the Vita Cheas game never had online.
Have you played it on another platform already? If so, how is it?
Has anyone actually succeeded in getting
Mighty Gunvolt Burst - Inti Creates
Available - EX Character: Ekoro - $1.99 (Free until August 09)
For 3DS on the US store yet? I can't seem to find it.
To our 3DS Mighty Gunvolt Burst players in North America, we sincerely apologize for the issue with the update file and DLC not appearing in the eShop when it was supposed to.
We worked with Nintendo of America to fix the problem, and can say with 100% certainly that the patch will be on the eShop when it updates on August 3rd at 9am Pacific Time.
Since the patch will be releasing one week later than anticipated, the free download period for Ekoro on the North American 3DS eShop will start on August 3rd and go for two weeks from that date through August 16th. Please note that this extension of the free download period only applies to the 3DS in North America, and nowhere else.
I want Steamworld 2, WarGroove and goddamn Stardew.
There was an issue rolling out the update in NA.

How is Blaster Master Zero? I kept getting it confused with Mighty Gunvolt Burst. They seem like the same type of game or am I wrong?
Was listening to the Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 OST and thought it was on the Switch and was happy to see that it's coming out at the end of month. LOVE the soundtrack.
It has some interesting concepts and is quite challenging. The game cycle is very similar to FTL in that you pick a tank with a couple of very basic options and then try to survive a series of encounters. There are permanent unlockables you will earn if you have successful runs.
The gameplay normally involves you fighting one or more AI opponents by taking turns removing "gems" from a gameplay grid - similar to Puzzle Quest or Bejeweled. Gems power up your tanks' armor, mobility, various weapons, and provide money and other quest related currencies.
The art and steam punk setting are very well done and the plot is well done and gives you some choices each run - but it can start to feel repetitive as you become familiar with the various events.
There is quite a bit of content and good runs where you get some worthwhile power ups for your tank can be a blast - but the randomness of available power ups can lead to runs that feel nearly impossible. I played on a Mac (Steam) and didn't unlock everything - if you don't own it on a different platform it is definitely worth it in my opinion.
Giant Bomb did a quick look HERE.
Just saw that I am Setsuna is on sale on the eu eshop for around 26.
Is it worth it? I'm tempted by the game since launch but the price was a bit high for me.

Anyone have a screen shot of the Slime-san Home menu icon? Curious.
Honestly it felt like kind of a mess to me, trying too hard to be funny at the expense of being fun. I played the 3DS version.Today will be Slime-san for sure, and possibly Retro City Rampage DX. I haven't played any version of this, does it feel like GTA1 in 8-bits, or does it have more modern QoL things too?

Real talk, I didn't buy Binding of Isaac because my youngest would've seen the icon, gone digging into it and it would've given them some issues.Honestly, I have to consider these things because my kids turn on the Switch and my youngest daughter probably would've been frightened by the icon if it looked too scary.
Thanks! Okay, that's not as bad as the game image I've seen with the red worming chasing the slime, which is what I thought it may be.

Those PRs need to go back to Mondays again ASAP. I'm tempted too.

I read somewhere that Gunbarich and Strikers are both playable in TATE mode. Is that true?
As true as they come.
