I impulse bought Sonic Lost World for Wii U -15$. Will I enjoy this if I like Sonic Adventure/2/Heroes/Generations ?

You already bought it so it doesn't really matter, but the answer is "not necessarily", since Lost World plays nothing like any of those games.

Probably not the best place to ask, but does anyone know if Sega made any improvements for the steam release?

There were some improvements patched later to the Wii u version that are included by default in the PC one, but beyond that and typical of tuff like resolution options etc. I don't think so, No.

Damn, THREE Street Fighter titles on the New 3DS? Seems like they're the main 3rd party putting their SNES stuff on New 3DS at the moment.

Also are you serious, $3 to upgrade Turbografx games? That's DOUBLE the price to upgrade SNES games, & a dollar more than N64 games.

I'd grab one of the SF2s on 3DS if they just had little individual launch sale prices, no interest in having all three of them regardless of the deal lol.

Happy to see TurboGrafx-16 finally, will grab Dragon's Curse for the millionth time whenever it hits! :D

At least it's Alpha 2 this time and not vanilla SFII again.

Anyone know if the Street Fighter VCs on 3DS will have local play support? Just got my lady a nn3ds and she'd love some SF vs on the go. :)

Several NES games do.

Zero SNES VC games, though. Except for same-system pass-and-play like in DKC1-3.

Yeah Balloon Fight & Ice Climbers do. And the relevant Sega 3D classics. Would be a shame if they omitted from these releases considering the typical use case of 2D fighters is multi.

It's 50% off (so R-Type is $4).
What the actual hell.

My only guess is that's the only real way they'll make money at this point, but still, that's just insane when everything else is only $1, $1.50, or $2 to upgrade.

Third party gotta make money. Nintendo can lowball their upgrade fees for their own platforms. I'd wager if Mega Drive/Genesis VC on Wii U existed you'd see a similarly more expensive upgrade. Anyone know what MSX VC upgrades in Japan are? Google isn't really forthcoming.

Bizarre. Alien on the Run is finally coming to EU (3DS eShop) on August 4th. I didn't realize y'all didn't have it yet. I heard it was really good.

Pretty annoyed that I bought Popolocrois while it was on sale for $15, and now the regular price is $19.99. Would not have been so quick to buy it if I knew I was really only saving $5.

MSX and PCE are 50% off in Japan too for upgrades. MSX games are more expensive in general at 829 yen (same price as SFC games!).

I'm going to feel crazy for buying all three SF games this Thursday.
Was the Alpha 2 port developed internally by Capcom?

What I wouldn't give for PC Engine games on 3DSXL.

Haha, same!
I was likely going to get Super and Alpha anyway, so Turbo for free is a great bonus despite the fact I don't need it.

I love all of these EU SNES promos, I'll be up to 15 3DS SNES games this week and all have been part of offers.
I'm glad Nintendo realise they priced these games too highly at £7.19 each.

Obligatory Maximillian Dood playing Street Fighter Alpha 2 video.

(I still found the game fun back in the day)

:O is it really that crappy? never played any of the Alpha games.

That reminds me I still need to cash in the MyNintendo Pilotwings freebies!

Ehhh, Alpha on the SNES is an amazing technical achievement and it plays (from memory) really well too.

It is, and it does. It's just, if you have an alternative.. probably better to go with that. As Max puts it, "As many have said, SFA2 on SNES is kind of incredible. It has several shortcomings, but it's kind of a technical marvel on a 16-bit cartridge. However it's far from the SFA2 you know on PSX/Saturn/Arcade. It's a beautiful disaster."

I'm also a big fan of the SPC versions of the Alpha 2 tunes.

I guess we won't have local multiplayer for the Street Fighter games, as we didn't even have it for Super Mario Kart which is 1st party.
Still a great week, I'll definitely get all three with the discount.

Consistent SNES VC ad-hoc support would have gotten me to go out and grab another 3DSXL. It's a shame.

If I sell my New 3DS now after removing the NNID and memory card from it and then buy another system in the future, will I retain my digital games and other data if I insert that same memory card into a future system?

System transfer or bust.

You'll need to call Nintendo to migrate your account access to your new system if you don't do the official system transfer.

Thanks for this answer - helps a lot. I think I'll just contact Nintendo in the future to migrate my account.

Make sure you don't "delete" your NNID. Because "deleting" your NNID ..."deletes" it. Some people don't understand words and then come the tears when they realize "deleting" their NNID "deleted" their NNID. :)

Just format.
