Wow, does it not make PERFECT SENSE that the new Mario platformer be in Space? I mean, we've seen him everywhere from Forests, to the Plains, to the Snow Levels, to the Water, to the Lava... and now the motherf***er is in outer space.

And those who say it looks like Sunshine can go suck it. Go back and watch the part where he's on the planet with the lava cooling off... those reflections are amazing.

I think Mario Galaxy is pretty impressive graphically btw, really nice lighting and shading, definitely a significant step-up from Sunshine. I'm reserving final judgement until we see more screenshots though, of course.

I'm looking at the Nintendo Press site's lists of upcoming games and there is NO mention of Smash Bros. for Wii. There IS however a Trauma Center coming for Wii called "Trauma Center: Second Opinion." No fact sheet, screenshots or anything on it, though.

The Wii-mote seems to be ever evolving. Now it has a speaker and the nunchuck can detect motion as well? They pretty much went all out in loading the controller with features. It would be scary as hell playing something like Silent Hill or Eternal Darkness by yourself in the dark and all of the sudden your controller starts "whispering". :lol

Were those two features confirmed to be the last secret, btw?

I guess they held a bunch of stuff back because they wanted to keep the press conference short and they want people to try the stuff out for themselves, as it's probably one of those things you have to try to understand.

BTW, is the wire between the Wii-mote and the nunchuck longer than it was before? It looks that way when I look at the MP3 picture.

...this is insane, but yet awesome.

A little disappointed in Diddy Kong (Looks like ugly straight port, to be honest), Star Fox (Looks WAY too unfinished to be done by August) and Kirby (Looks like a GBA game ported over, for sure, complete with "Choose your own ability on the touch screen").

I don't mean to sound negative, because there is some majorly exciting stuff here. But Metroid Prime 3? Wow. It looks IDENTICAL to Metroid Prime 2. Where's the innovation other than the controller, exactly? Where's the changes?

Mario/Zelda, on the other hand? Pure bliss.
