"Not allowing."
Is Nintendo honestly serious? That's a move I'd expect from the cocky Nintendo pre-PSX days.
They still got it.
Sony and MS are going as far as integrating streaming into their systems!
Don't have the game?
Watch the game.
Buy game.

this isn't even close to being an accurate characterization of nintendo. they run their own tournaments with pokemon. taking Smash out of EVO is a very un-Nintendo thing to do, usually they let fans do whatever they want with their stuff.
Why, when sakurai said himself he would like the new smash to appeal to both audiences.
more importantly, did they really consider not streaming KOF? or did the schedule just change?
Not sure if this was mentioned or not, the MLG situation wasn't Nintendo C&Ding them from streaming Brawl, it was them just completely ignoring MLG's asking or w.e. And so MLG didn't want to risk streaming it in case of issues with Nintendo since they never got a response.
The pokemon company is a subsidiary of Nintendo formed by Nintendo?Pokemon is managed by the Pokemon company.
Different people running the ship.
Pokemon is managed by the Pokemon company.
I think they're just streaming more KOF.
The best and most effective way of getting them to make changes is to stop buying their products. I mean, I know it sounds impossible to actually make a difference, but if MS reacted to just the backlash of the Xbox One disaster, I think Nintendo would probably do the same with less motivation.
There aren't after the 100k hardcore market, they are after the 5 million casual market.nintendo could have advertised the upcoming smash bros to 80-100k fighting game fans and instead they choose to say screw you to their hardcore fans.
Last I read, he wasn't interested in appealing to the competitive market because it didn't matter. Looks like there's a new interview saying that he's looking to the middle ground. I guess we'll ultimately see, but we all know what they were trying to do with Brawl.
who cares? there's tons of other examples showing why nintendo doesn't value just the 4 year old and grandmas - the accusation is so ridiculous that it shouldn't exist at all. just today they announced a promo today for Fire Emblem (a nintendo game) and SMT. who do you think that was for?
Usually, yes, but in this case, this is a fallacy. If you boycott the Wii U and Smash Bros U, Nintendo will perceive a problem with the game itself (which there may well be, but let's say it ends up striking a perfect balance between Brawl and Melee for the sake of argument) rather than with this stuff.
Community handling and after care are things that don't directly effect sales (as much). The more powerful route is to cause some strong public discourse that could in turn cause a wider group of people to pass on the game.
How do you explain Bayonetta, then?
Nintendo might be out of touch, and might make a lot of dumb decisions, but I do not think your characterization is accurate.
If you mix in the strong public discourse in with the boycott of the system/games, I'm not exactly sure why Nintendo would still perceive the fault of the lack of sales be with the game itself.Usually, yes, but in this case, this is a fallacy. It's a shame. Really, Nintendo does not even need the smallest amount of bad PR. Hardcore fans are virtually the only group they have right now for Wii U that might even be the slightest bit interest and they're doing something that could only alienate them.
I really, really hope Nintendo begins to change their ways before it's too late for anything to be salvaged from this gen.

The sooner people start to realise this, the easier it is to understand all this.

Bayonetta means nothing.
Bayonetta is a charity case exclusive that was handed to them when people had delusions of Wii numbers in their eyes. Nintendo and Nintendo fans think that it will have a far bigger impact than reality will display.
And I guarantee that Sega and Inaba right now are regretting every moment of the situation they are in with the title.

But the people who are saying just kids and grandmas are being idiots.

Why would they care?
Sega wanted nothing to do with the game to begin with. Nintendo is the only reason the game exists.
Why should Sega and Inaba care? They get paid either way. It's not like Nintendo is withholding money based on sales (but if it sells well, more money for Inaba and Platinum)
Also, his point about Bayontta is not about having an impact, it's that Nintendo does care about people outside the casual market. Because if they didn't, they wouldn't have funded Bayonetta 2.
Why would Sega and Inaba regret anything regarding Bayonetta? Nintendo's the one that's paying for everything.

To be honest, your repeated insistence over defending every single move Nintendo has ever made shocks me.
WE BACK!?!?!?!?
