Yeah, I don't think the leaker would know that it's a port since I think he said there weren't any actual games being shown. Just the kiosks. Without seeing the game, how would he know?
Thank god. That leak was pretty ugly. Only presenting those games would make the presentation very disappointing.
Why would you like a Smash clone when you can play the real one in the same console?

I just dodged a bullet by the way. Just changed my internet box because the previous one had wi fi issues and guess what : the new one does not work at all! And my provider (NEVER GO TO SFR FRANCE GAF!!!) simply took an appointment with a technician who should come next wednesday... Yay, no internet for the switch presentation, I was almost crying.
End of story I yelled a little bit and they lend me a little wi fi device. Phew. Almost screwed.
And I repeat : avoid SFR like the plague France GAF

Getting excited, hope they have a couple surprises.
Same here. I came close a few times getting one, but it just didn't have enough Nintendo titles. No new Zelda, no new 3D Mario, bad Star Fox game, no new Metroid, etc.

I love Nintendo's portable output, as their portables are always must-have, but I don't know with this one...
I bought a PS4 half a year ago, and I don't really have the time nor the money to buy a second home console plus games, I don't even have all PS4 games that I want, and there are lot of them that I'm interested in coming in the next few months!
I'm really looking forward to the presentation, but I doubt there will be something that will make it a must-buy, at least right now (read: whenever it releases) for me.

And that's a bad thing? Do all Switch games have to be standalone killer apps? That's massively unrealistic. We know people will mostly buy it for Mario and Zelda.
But how would they go about it? They can't use the SFV assets (Sony has a stake in those, though Capcom or Nintendo could pay Sony for the assets), & making new sprites is hella time-consuming. That plus Capcom's already juggling two fighting games that they're supporting (with SFV for sure being supported for the long-term).
Maybe if Capcom outsources this SFII release, I could see it happening. But I'm not sure if Capcom has the spare manpower to do a Hyper SFII in-house.

Switch is just as much a console as it is a handheld, so I'm a little confused why some use the handheld part as an argument against bringing online only games to the system.
In fact, LAN should be a thing as well, since it's a handheld too, but I guess that would require extra effort. When looking at Monster Hunter, in Japan particularly, they seem to prefer local LAN over internet play.

That's just it. SFII isn't important. We have SFIII, IV and V so why dwell on such an old SF now.
Also Disaea 5 is not happening either. They tried Disgaea on Nintendo systems with Disgaea DS and it flopped hard.
