No it isn't. A SNES game and a port of a 3/4 year old PS4 game that sold ~100k copies worldwide is nowhere close to as big as a new Ridge Racer or DOA and Resident Evil spinoffs.

Big deciding factor will be price for me. Fully expecting $250 US which is ~329 CAD.

Anything more than 350 would be a dealbreaker. If they go below conversion rate and do 300, that is within instabuy territory. If the price is exactly 330, it'll come down to how satisfied I am with launch lineup.

1. Not sure. Probably something I haven't thought about yet. I pretty much own everything (except an Xbox One).

I'd be shocked if it was a full on remake. I'd imagine at most a touched up version of the HD Remix that was (still is?) on the XBLA marketplace.

There's absolutely no way it's a port (if it's real). None. Why would a Virtual Console game be playable?

I guess it could be that HD remake from last gen, but I doubt it.

But I also doubt it exists, period.

Also, I'd say that, even if they aren't big, the idea of NIS jumping right to Disgaea 5 does suggest something about how they feel about the Switch given their usual strategy of approaching non-Sony platforms is to port Disgaea 1 or Phantom Brave and then bailing out.
