Without Streetpass or mobile app support doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose?
And why is it a fully fledged $50 game?
This is one of the few times I actually want a "crappy" cheap lite experience ala the original. It's not even about the money...I only buy like 5 games a year so I don't necessarily care what the price is, I just think it's the wrong type of product for what it should be.
It's not great. It was a fun $30 3DS game with streetpass. It's the kind of thing you play in bed before falling asleep if you want an extremely relaxing, hands off, light-hearted game.
I actually enjoyed it, but I can't recommend it for the price they're asking on Switch. I'd honestly recommend picking it up on 3DS instead.
They don't have voices like Tomodachi Life.
The only reason I'd see this being appealing is for someone like my girlfriend who really doesn't play games much. She might honestly enjoy it and find it humorous (even I thought it was kinda fun, but very simplistic). The game is severely overpriced though.
This game looks dreadful and I have no idea why anyone would bother wasting their time on it, especially an adult. If it wasn't made by Nintendo it would be correctly viewed as shovelware.
