Anyone else have a Zelda Special Edition set for in-store pickup at Best Buy? I've realized in checking over all my orders that it never updated with an "Available" date, and when I check the original email I see that it never had one to begin with (the estimated pickup date was actually the next day), and I never got an update email (which is what happened with other games I pre-ordered that got formal release dates).

I think I'd probably just buy a copy of Zelda that night and return the Special Edition if it doesn't end up being ready for pickup, but I don't know if this is just how those exist in their system at the moment.

Damn, after this Zelda Preview hype I'm regretting so much not doing a pre order.

But Nintendo lost me with buy at launch with the Switch Presentation that didn't satisfy me with the information given. Since then we got new details from leaks, interviews and previews that gave me the urge to buy this thing at launch.

I wonder if Nintendo gave us that information at the presentation event it could have been a more successful launch for the Switch.

But the reason you're regretting not pre-ordering is because pre-orders are completely sold out...

Mine says the 4th. It originally said the 3rd, but it got pushed a day a week or two ago.

Weird - the Pro Controller that I managed to snag a pre-order for just a few days ago is being prepared for shipment by Best Buy now, while the Neon Switch and Master Zelda I've had on pre-order since Day 1 haven't budged an inch.

Not that I'm worried about any of this, really, but I can understand now why everybody's F5ing their asses off right now (and will be for the rest of the week).

Got an email from GameStop yesterday morning about them trying to charge my credit card but were having issues. I called my bank and they took the hold off on their end. I emailed GameStop back with "RESOLVED" in the subject line per the instructions. They got back to me and said they would charge my card again and would receive a seperate email with tracking information when it ships. But my card still hasn't been charged yet and my GameStop account shows my card hasn't been billed yet either. Anyone else with this issue?

Pre ordered my NEON Switch console from Best Buy back on January 12th..says pre-ordered..nothing about preparing My Pro Controller says PREPARING My Amiibos say PREPARING I used the SAME Best Buy credit card on ALL the orders so not sure what is going on..only difference with the neon switch pre order is that I used two best buy gift cards(Worth 75 dollars total) plus a 5 dollar rewards certificate..Im in the US

I chose in store pickup through Best Buy and my order says available on 3/3, but looking through the Best Buy forums some people doing in store pickup show theirs available on 3/2. Yes, my location is listed as doing a midnight opening. I haven't called them yet, but was wondering if anyone knows if orders listed as 3/3 will be available for the midnight pick up. I would assume yes, but it wouldn't be a console launch if I wasn't nervous about something.

When you first placed the order at Best Buy they put a hold for the amount on your card for a few days and then released it. You're charged for on-line store pickups only when you actually pick up the order.

eShop on Wii U had decent download speeds from what I remember.

The biggest issue will be servers going down, but maybe they won't go for too long.
