Im not worried about difficulty since most likely there is going to be a Hero Mode.

I'm fine with that as long as it's available at the start.

Perfectly fine with durability being in btw. I generally enjoy that mechanic, and it appears to be used well here. With enemies dropping weapons left and right for use, and items being used up or broken fairly quickly(at least at this stage), it should break up some monotony in the combat. Some games have durability that doesn't mean much, or isnt very fun because you just constantly run back to a smith and dump some money, but in this case the game is forcing you to switch to new weapons, so that plays well with me.

The implications of the technology and the ruined Hyrule already make the lore of this game super compelling. Feels like some Bloodborne storytelling through level design.

Or, you know, early Zelda or Metroid. From Software didn't invent everything in gaming.

I can't believe he did this. I'm definitely going to try to set up traps like that & shoot it with a fire arrow(?). I really want to play this game now.

I'm sure it's for junk items. Dungeon items would probably either not have that at all or a high durability.

I hope youre right, because it's one of the things i hate the most in games, having to switch equipment constantly.
Especially if i like the move-set of, say, the spear, i don't want to be force to use the club, just because thats the only weapon enemies around me have.

This is looking beautiful, so far: Koroks, and possibly King of Red Lions, this game is giving off massive WindWaker storyline vibes - but it seems that they are going back to the roots with the NES Zelda feel.

The game looks great, should look amazing on NX but great to know the Wii U version is shaping up to be very good.

I like how it feels more like a full on RPG now, with resource collecting and different clothing, armour and weapons you can find and equip as you explore the world.

Seems like they have worked hard to change up Zelda for the better and it looks massive, so no wonder its taken so long to come out.

I loved that the Bow wasn't in a dungeon, but somewhere I can just find it. That's adventuring. That makes me want to explore this world even more. I still hope important/permanent (unbreakable) items are found in dungeons, but the fact that the bow was just laying out in the field makes me want to play this and explore every aspect of the world.

Looks like keeping link warm or cool will play a part judging by the temp meter.

And looks like some sort of stealth mechanic too

Yup, looks like a noise meter. Will probably be used both to creep up on wild animals, as in the trailer, and for gameplay sections.

I love how they aren't forcing the game pad screen controls.

It bolds wells for the NX controller actually being practical and usable.

Switching weapons and clothes looked like a regular pause screen, but I'm not sure. I'd prefer to have those options on the game pad while the tv screen stays unpaused, but that's just me.
