This game looks done already.....

They better be taking this time and adding as much content they can to fill this pretty empty world.

I haven't seen too much with Dark Souls, but:

  • Weapon durability
    [*]Stamina meter
    [*]Counter system

are all new elements (afaik) to TLoZ. They aren't exclusive or first to Souls games, but given that all those elements are present in both and well liked by a large number of folks here, it's no surprise that the comparison is being made.

Both of those were in Skyward Sword and the first sort of too (shields could degrade and break)

I hope there are a lot of sidequest storylines with a world this huge. The Witcher 3 is huge but there is a lot to do.

Also, exploration with nothing to find isn't fun.

btw, I don't think this is a WW sequel. I thought Hyrule was completely destroyed at the end of it?

I mean...
We've already had two sequels to WW, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.
Spirit Tracks basically tells us that Link and Tetra/WW Zelda landed on a new continent and founded a new nation.
So if this takes place in that "Adult"/Windwaker timeline it's technically a Spirit Tracks sequel that takes place in a declined so called "New Hyrule".
:P

There should be some wrecked trains or something.

There is a bridge between a normal field and an ice level...
'The transitions feel like a natural world'

Laughing my ass off, sorry. Jesus

I don't know if I'm mistaken, but when they glided down to that lower ledge, was the wind affecting their movement? Would be cool if so and another nod to Wind Waker.

Game seems too easy for now.

Nintendo will implement hard mode in this too. Calling it.

First level in the game

GAF: "Game looks too easy."

Watching stream with nearly 200,000 other people.

GAF: "Framerate could use some work."

Why is link just naturally spiderman? That feels so wrong. Just clambers up a steep rock face like it's nothing?

There's obviously something weird or mystical here based on Link waking up in a Shrine of Resurrection. Additionally, it's not like he can do it continuously or at any large pace. It seems natural for someone fairly fit enough.

Fucking loving everything they have shown of Zelda. Such a massive step from Skyward Sword on every single aspect. Plus the actual world is also maaassive no wonder why this is a 2017 title.
