Nintendo Xenoblade Chronicle 3 Direct Announced for June 22

The game is out in about a mouth. Why would anyone watch this and get spoiled?
Because….

On more serious note, we might see DLC for this game similar to Torna in XC2.

Debating whether or not to watch this. I might just because I want to like the cast more. So far the designs just don't speak to me. Hopefully the personalities will appeal to me more, but then I might end up spoiling myself lol. Already Day 1 though, I love all the others they've done, and I'm keen on a quality rpg. Hopefully we get a full Direct after this soonish.

Hopefully the map isn't shit like in 2. I quit after 20 hours or so due to the terrible map. I never could figure out what to do or where to go. That is NOT a good thing when someone who has played the game for hours.

Pretty sure this Direct is moreso for the people who

- are still on the fence
- want more info on the new gameplay mechanics/featureS
- Just want as much XC3 info as possible

Also I'm pretty sure they will announce plans for the redo for ordering the Special Edition. Hopefully they can find a way to do this without royally screwing it up like last time.

The main direct is still coming to focus on everything after July/XC3 launch

Cause there hasn't been the Traditional Summer Direct yet, you see the same thing when they do an Indie World as well
They need time to downgrade those 8 old Mario Kart tracks. Add in some time to let inflation make some of their remasters look like a good deal.

They had so much momentum with me before COVID. Now they just seem greedy, lazy, and slow at whatever they do

I mean...."Yay," but also, "Dammit." Lol.

I'm excited to play the game, but I'm not sure I'd even watch X3 Direct as all it can do is spoil my own discoveries in a game I know I'm going to play. Plus, this pushes back that E3 replacement Direct that a lot of us have been waiting for (and are starting to think will never come).

Of course, this could just be a prelude to that full-fat Direct. That's probably what it is. Right Nintendo?

...Nintendo? =[

Oh well. Hype on.
This is indeed the prelude. More to come. This just allows them to focus on other things in the main Direct.

Meh, not my type of game. Hoping they'll have a more general direct in July.
You'll get the main Direct by the end of June :)

I'm definitely want to see how Ouroboros work in combat and how character switching going to work.

Also based on first trailer, we are getting ship for traversal, I want to see more of that.

Always wished the Xenoblade games ran better in handheld mode on switch. Even games I enjoy it is hard for me to sit down in front of a TV for 100 hours and play the game. I really enjoyed my time with the first game but I never finished it. These games all look visually appealing and fun but I just can't finish them!

Does anyone living in Germany reserve the Special Edition? I have registered my email to the MyNintendo.de page, and still did not get anything.

They're rumored to have a more traditional direct coming a week later June 29th or so, So this seems like a good thing just to get Xenoblade covered and it won't take up all the time in the main show.

"A Nintendo Direct on June 29 according to my sources".

Well, that's a good start. Nintendo is putting a lot of hope in a niche game.

Xenoblade sold pretty well on Switch and its large scale RPG with complex combat, it not bad idea explaining some those mechanics.

I might be alone on this I'm super hype for this direct.

Meh, not watching this.
I'm looking forward to the game but the first trailer was good and I've played and enjoyed the 2 previous games so I don't need more convincing. I'd rather discover the world, characters and mechanics when I'm actually playing the game.

Xenoblade 2 Direct explain a lot of things about the battle system because it's pretty hard to understand. I think they'll explain a lot of things. We saw clips of battle system of Xenoblade 3 but still don't really know how it works even though they already explain it a little bit. Not just that, the camp system seems pretty complex since you can do many things.

My most anticipated game of the year.

Avoiding this to go into the game as spoiler free as possible is going to be tough!

We're nearly there!

Are you talking about the Xenoblade games in general or that abomination known as Xenoblade Chronicles 2?
I've only played the first Xenoblade, gave it a good chunk of time as a fair way of trying it. I was liking some things, like the characters, the music, the world... game could have been of my favs, but I just don't dig the combat system, which for me is the most important part of any JRPG.
My main gripe with it is that often I felt out of control, or that said control wasn't necessary at all. Most of my fights were reduced to "place dude behind enemy, use X skill, now place it on one side of the enemy, use Y skill, repeat" and that wasn't fun at all for me.

I was hoping 2 improved onm that aspect. Why don't you like it? The boobs? The gacha?

Thats Understandable, I personally really like Xeno's combat systems but I also see its not gonna appeal to everyone and has lot of systems which I admit the game itself does poor job explaining to the player.

Absolutely. Next time I give this series a chance I'll watch some tuto-videos first, I'm sure those will help.

One of the biggest criticism which I also agree against Xenoblade 2 is has absolutely piss poor tutorial which for game that has lot systems is big flaw and huge turn off for majority of the players.....heck I myself learned XC2's combat through youtube videos.

Same, learned through gamexplain

But man, once you get it, it's insane how much depth there is

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has the most flaws of all the Xenoblades but it's still my Favorite due to the game having the most heart, the best and unique characters and the greatest story of all Xenoblade games
