Xenoblade X is the second worst Xeno game. Us Xeno fans do not want create a character bullshit. We want top tier jrpg storytelling. Imagine if Trails went the create a character route how lame that would be instead of fleshed out characters like Estelle, Lloyd, Rean, and Van. Im glad Takahashi realized X was a mistake and ignores its supporters.

I would disagree with Wolf here and I say something more like what you said about XC2, XCX may have the most flaws but it's still my favourite.

He's right that story and characters are not strong points compared to Xenoblade 1 or 2. The story has a brilliant premise but they ultimately fail to deliver on it in the end. Characters also, while likeable enough, are not on the level of the other Xenoblades at all. But the world is amazing, and exploring it in your mech is a real joy. I often say that the real main character of X isn't your created character but the planet Mira that you have landed on, because exploring that planet is so awesome. XCX also has its own really excellent (but still confusing to learn, as always) combat mechanics with the overdrive system and class mixing that I love.

You can't go into it expecting it to be as good at story and characters as Xenoblade 1 and have a good time, its strengths lie elsewhere.

I think Xenoblade X has the most flaws. Small text, soul voice that are pretty complicated, story that are scrapped for multiplayer focus, overdrive that are not explained properly. But it's still the best game for me.

If Sony can remake The Last of Us 1, Nintendo should remake Xenoblade X.
 
As that other poster said, XB2 is the second best game next to Xenogears and I'll be honest, XB3 has some massive fucking shoes to fill.

What I like about Xenoblade games is all three are very different from each other and everyone have their own favourites.

That one track is a really bad song imo. But the game has tons of absolutely sensational tracks as well.

Yeah I actually get a little concerned when I realize something from XC2 definitely won't be in XC3 like the huge range of rare blades full of personality. Still I trust monoliftsoft know what they're doing.

Yeah I'm amazed how different all 3 games are while being so similar. I love em all too so good chance I'll love whatever they do in XC3 if I keep an open mind.

I believe the guest heroes and the ability to permanently learn their abilities and use their weapons will function much like the Blades. I expect to see guest heroes in this game from Xenoblade 1/2 as well as future guest heroes as DLC for the expected expansion later on.

Well I was originally not going to be able to watch this live but now I'm at home with covid so I guess I'm watching it live.
 
That scene of Melia taking the life energy of the soldier was pretty chilling. Gave me memories of Wiseman from Baten Kaitos, also a Monolith game.
 
Day one even though I never finished the other games. This looks a lot more interesting to me in every way.

Just hope it runs at a decent resolution.
