Gonna hit the Omi region in Wots, see if I can finish the campaign missions today.
Is there a big difference between the Omi region in Wots and the first area in wotd? I feel like my damage is falling off a little bit, so that has me concerned.

Need to pick up the season pass. I think I might have to do a level one run next. I'm currently doing a build that is me dead in one hit from most enemies, but I can take out almost all bosses in five hits on way of the strong with no buffs/debuffs and is really good fun, makes sense to take it one step further. Tempted to see how early in the game you can create a tank build as well.

No dates given. My guess is DLC2 this summer, and DLC3 this fall. And DLC3 comes at the same time as a re-released Nioh Complete edition.

So at what point should I start the DLC missions? Straight after one playthrough of the game or do I need to do Way of the Samurai + Way of the Strong before tackling the DLC?
And what is Divine gear? I've seen that mentioned in this thread. Is that a higher tier above the Purple / Exotic stuff?

Not sure if you know this but you can have two spirit guardians now, one primary and one secondary. I've seen your stream now and I've noticed that you have only one selected.
Also Komori is kinda useless now as a main guardian since you can have Agility bonus on your ranged weapon, unless you're going for Ninjitsu bonus, then it makes sense. It is awesome as a secondary tho as it gives you 8% damage from behind.
Divine gear is the highest tier in the game, is green in color and you won't be able to get any unless you beat the game first. After that it will drop for you as any other tier gear in the game.
As for the DLC, you can start dlc as soon as you finish last mission of the base game, Queen Eyes. Once you do it you can play DLC on the Way of the Samurai. If you want to change the difficulty after you beat the game just press square on the main map. You can switch difficulties whenever you want but only on the main map, you can't do it during a level.

Also that boss can get super fucked. Of course, Suzaku trivialised it, but that was the first hurdle in my underlevelled WotD run. >_<

Yeah your main guardian spirit gives you all the stats, your secondary gives you half of one stat but you can switch them during level if you want. it won't switch the stats tho, but it will let you summon the other one if you choose to do so. If you want to switch them during level just hold R1, that will highlight the spirit in the left upper corner and then you can press L2 to switch them.
You choose the secondary guardian in the same place as the main guardian, you just switch between them with L1 and L2. When you choose the second one, it will show you which stat will be added to you. You can't choose the stat, it is fixed for every guardian.

But he could be higher if i liked his aesthetic more, but the top 4 are all really good mechanically.

No need to panic as your damage will grow as you go through the game.
Honestly, you'll be fine as long as you just upgrade your gear as you go along.
And mechanically, you've fought all these enemies time and time again and know their weak points, so you should be able to run rings around them even when heavily undergeared.

Cycled Nioh back into the rotation and finally cashed in points for one of the female skins. Was gonna be be either Fuku or Tomoe since the other two are at times seen actively accompanying William in gameplay.

I kinda see where you are coming from, but-
Is the damage in those gifs your current damage or the damage you had entering wotd? Cause I'm seeing some 4-7k slashes, and I'm not sure I'm achieving those kind of numbers with windstorm out of wotd, let alone with normal attacks.
You and I would both think so, and yet I keep getting hit by the dumbest things.

It was my damage entering wotd. Don't worry mate, you'll be fine. You just have to move a lot, especially when you have ranged enemies around as the fire rate on wotd is kinda nuts lol

I dunno. Its pretty complicated honestly with the way new content is being added. But you can jump around the difficulty modes as you please so just do whatever I guess.

.Gifs making me want to play now but I bought MGS V and want to give that a fair hearing.
So, new weapon type: did it come with some new passives that can be applied universally. Not really interested in using such a weapon but would definitely harvest the passives if possible.
Odachi has passives that gives increased grapple damage (but who uses grapples anyway) and increased odachi damage to humans (which is useless if you don't plan on using the weapon).
On the topic of favourite bosses, yuki onna is my favourite. Especially when you play aggressively and up close like this:

He or she seems to also be underleveled and undergeared but still stomps.
I am going to take a break.I don't understand watching other people's videos I do it. Instead of being all badass my dude doesn't. Cross always gets stopped..unless the dude is on the ground. Otherwise no matter where in the animation my dude finds Jesus when touched. Fighting some dude on a bridge who can twist his torso 360 degrees in both direction while his feet point the other way. Does he have more than that move because that is all he does...
I can't seem to parry him but I think that move he spams has hyper armour or something. This game really knows how to kick you off your high. It has really awesome moments. Where it feels legit hard. The enemies all seem to do thing sdifferently.
Than you get these dudes who do the same thing. Last one was warrior of the north lol. What a snoozefest that was. Beat him but I never got the "oh yea finally moment". Best oh yea moment was the vampire chick boss and giant blob dude lol. I just suck at this game and the controls don't feel tight. My cross is still iffy even if I double tap R1 to reset than r1 and hold O.

Get to way of the demon difficulty and just play through the levels---you'll get massive amounts of Amrita compared to the other difficulties
It really makes no sense to level up further if you do not own the DLC.
If you do own it then play Way of the Demon as was said.

Every time you upgrade a piece of gear its familiarity is being reset. Once you get familiarity back to maximum that piece of gear will have higher values than it did before upgrade and that is why you get red arrow each time you upgrade and it is perfectly normal.

Drops from big N in return of the gourd. Got it randomly when going through WotD.

Haha I know the feeling. I was farming return of the gourd on WotS with my high luck/item drop rate build and did like 20 times. No drop at all. Said screw it, I'm happy with my Kingo/Master swordsman build. Does more than enough damage.
Go through WotD and it just drops. No item drop rate pieces, no nothing :/
