I still dont understand why people think JR caling this is a good thing. Dude doesnt know the product, the wrestlers or the moves. The entire thing will probably feel like someone doing a poor imitation of him
Yeah, I know, I'm more or less referring to 2000-2003 where Inoki tried to do the UWFi style and brought in a bunch of shoot guys who didn't know how to work. Combine that with Choshu's shitty booking, NOAH absolutely crushing everything in Japan at that time, and the Brock Lesnar disaster, and it's a miracle NJPW survived. Meanwhile Shithead Inoki has his overblown indy promotion that isn't sure if it wants to be puro or MMA and is off hanging out with Kim Jong Un. Douchebag.
Is this the thing that wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett is involved in?!!?
Very stoked to see if they can top the crazy entrances from last year.

I hope they let Naito be more of a tweener like he was during Tanahashi vs Okada. That's when he's at his best.

There are few things I'm more excited for than Wrestle Kingdom 9 this Saturday. We're having a big party at my folks house, watching it live, and then going out for breakfast.
My parents, god bless 'em, are going to bed at 5 p.m. so they can stay up and watch this with myself, the Mrs., and a few friends. They've been ordering wrestling PPVs for me since Wrestlemania VI. They even let me call Mean Gene's shitty hotline.
Data West said:I'm sure it'll be a good match, but I'm sick of these dudes feuding. This should have been AJ vs Okada. Tanahashi doesn't need the title at all.
Another thought I had...how will GFW handle the editing of NJPW wrestler themes that are copyrighted? Togi Makabe's instantly comes to mind, as he uses "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin.
then AJ (having never lost to Okada)
'Boo me this time, mother fuckers'
'Boo me this time, mother fuckers'
Confession time.
Makabe won me over with his title match against Okada and I like him regardless of how good or bad he's been since then.
Do you mean the one leading up to the G1? I saw that one. I like how Makabe's entire English vocabulary consists of the words "hey", "fuck", "you", and "man".He's a lot of fun, and insanely over. And old as fuck too, but I really enjoy him. You should check out his promo on Bullet Club if you haven't. Promo of 2014. "BULLET CLUB? FUCK YOUUUUUUUU"
I think the only way to get English commentary is to order it on PPV through your cable provider. If you don't have one, the only option is to stream it through NJPW World, which is about $9 a month and only has Japanese commentary (I think). No idea about streaming it on your TV. I'm guessing it doesn't support Chromecast so your best bet would be trying to see if it works on a Smart TV or on a game console's internet browser.I really want to order this. I have never seen a Japanese wrestling show and this looks so amazing. I have a question though I don't have cable box or satellite tv and I want to watch this with the american commentary. So how do I order this? Can I order it online and stream it to my tv?

I've been looking for that promo. Is it on Youtube? ):

I checked the G1 Climax 24 press conference, but that wasn't the one. Makabe does take a break from talking in Japanese near the end of his promo to say "I said 'This one is for AJ. Fuck off!'" Then you see Nakamura in the background almost burst out laughing.I couldn't find it, I was trying to also. Someone else may know where it's hiding but I had no luck on Dailymotion. I think it was a post-match promo which is even tougher to pick the right one.

See Nak's and Okada's reactions or seeing them mess with each other has been one of the best parts about the G1 press conferences the past two years.
Oh yeah. How could I forget Yano deliberately trying to make them laugh?Okada was trying not to lose his shit, but sitting next to YTR made that an impossible task.
