I like it, but come on its a chill game that's a slow burn.Lol the game is not slow paced, you just need to improve your equipment.
Today i found a moon for the first time, and its caves where packed of "treasure" gold, 8 stacks and going on, omfg

I find the sentinals very unnerving when you turn around and they're right there in your face scanning. I keep looking over my shoulder every few seconds when I'm mining and that sound they make gives me gamer anxiety.
For curiosity sake, I bet most people that are enjoying this game are "old". How old are you space cadets?

You should be fine, just craft a hyperdrive and then check a space station to see if other ships have them available.Oh well that was after getting the preorder ship, but then switching it with an abandoned one, so guess I didn't get hit?
I do kinda wish they would patch in an advanced flight mode, where the controls are tighter and you have more control.31. Really enjoying it despite some personal things - FOV is too low for me and the turning acceleration[?] feels really weird on a controller. But, the game itself is so exactly what I want in a far future scifi exploration game that I just don't care.
I found a 2nd ship but in order to use it, i needed to find minerals and repairs. By the time i got the stuff...i forgot where the 2nd ship was.

My gripe is aiming the multitool. I wish I could adjust the acceleration on R3 while on foot.
But the FOV is also reaaaally narrow. I have no idea what it actually is, but I want more. I'm really hoping the PC port is good because I will gladly double dip at this point.
I'm 40 in
WHERES THE DAMN ENDING
It's a great game for people who like to role play. I come up with all sorts of stories as I play.

feels good to be properly spacefaring with my own ship. Now I can start making some profit to save up for a real upgrade and score some exosuit slots while I'm at it.
Yeah, I'd love to see ad hoc objective markers a la MGSV so that we don't lose track of stuff. Actually there's several mechanics in MGSV I'd love to see this game adopt...
Last star system was shit. A toxic world, a radioactive world, a barren world and I kept getting attacked for my stock every time I left the atmosphere.
With that said is there any way to return to previous star systems? Would have been nice if there was some sort of wormhole/warp you could leave behind in each system you discover. You could have you own galactic empire![]()

I'm having blast so far. I'm going to actually double dip and get it on steam . Can't wait to play it in 60fps and ultrawide (hopefully it supports it)
In space, there's no forward or backward. lolCan you not just warp backwards? I haven't ever tried to... I just assumed you could.

It's a combination of a few things
First survival type game
Retro sci Fi style
Slow paced
Relaxing
Thought provoking
Addictive
Soundtrack
Simplicity
Original
The list could go on and on. It's a "first" for me in gaming, something that happens only ever few years or more.

I jumped between adjacent systems numerous times on my previous save. You just have to find them, which is the tricky part. If you want to return frequently, you can set a waypoint on the galactic map by selecting it and hitting Square.
Look for drop pods!I just have to know: how the hell do i increase my backpack. No god damn space....

That's how it works in Free Exploration mode. But "the other way" is tricky. When I push down on my Dpad there is definitely a forward and backward (Atlas path)
I just figured I could hold the right stick the other way and go to wherever is on my star map that I can reach with a warp... ah well.
So is there finally a sort-of definitive way around the pre-order ship bug where I can find warpdrive blueprints and avoid all of the other issues? I put around 4 hours in last night, and then I read today about the bug. I don't want to start over, I got a sweet multi-tool from an alien last night.
I am waiting for this to be out on PC but a question...
Do ships have different attributes? Or is it a purely cosmetic choice when buying a new ship.
I've out over 200 hours into Elite Dangerous due to playing and trialling pretty much every ship in the game.
I'd kinda like to know this as well. Pre-ordered it for PC so I'm just hoping to avoid the starter ship altogether if possible, without breaking the game.
