This seems to happen to pretty much everyone.Really the only bug I'm encountering is sometimes when launching from planet surface, I get instantly catapulted into the stratosphere...
Had to restart my first playthrough because of this. Redeeming the preorder ship early really fucks you over. The most game breaking bugs for me so far are getting upgrade blueprints and then them not appearing in the menu and not being able to clear a waypoint on the star map. Really really frustrating.

what was the name of the system?
It is not a bug.So I found this sweet planet which is absolutely filled by those large gold stack things (the language is set in Dutch so I have no idea what it is in English). Except when I laser beam the part of it which is in the soil, I receive no goldIs this a bug?
My game seems to be fucked. It's crashing every time I attempt to warp. Think that's it for me. I'm done.
Has anyone come across a planet that has already been discovered by another player?
Yeah, I did. All the planets were still undiscovered though like he just warped in and left immediately.Has anyone come across a planet that has already been discovered by another player?

Sean Murray a while back said the terrain is generated from different wave patterns - sine waves and whatnot - from that they textured them. He also said that's what he sees when exploring is all the algorithms commingling upon each other...quite fascinating to say the leastSeriously this game handles mountain, bodies of water, and erosion generation on a next level. They should if nothing else license out this terrain generation tech

Letters and colors. 4 kinds I think.I saw some talk in the bitchy NMS thread about different "kinds" of solar systems. Something about them being designated by letters (on the galaxy map) like "G" systems and "Y" systems. Is this a thing?

Unfortunately it's starting to look like it - been to countless planets with a single biome - on a second note - I wish there was a way to distinguish poles and equatorial regionsSo do planets ever have biomes, or is every square kilometer on the planet similar?

I still have no clue how to get the survival trophies. That and the zoology ones are the only ones I am waaaaaay behind on.
Where to find copper?
I kept zooming and yeah that looks like a face,
I turned back and...
I did't notice the face earlier...
Where to find copper?
Are you trying to warp immediately after leaving a space station? That was causing me to crash every time I warped. Once I boosted away until I was in the middle of the asteroids I was able to warp without problem.
Portals from the trailers.I've found two ruins/monuments I can't interact with on different planets. They both looked the same, quite tall with flat stairs on both sides and a hole/tunnel in the middle. Didn't find any way to interact with them (unless I somehow missed the obvious). Anyone else knows what they are?

Yeah you probably missed where to go. Sometimes its underneath or else where keep walk around you eventually find the interactive point
Copper is a fairly rare resource in my experience. In asteroid fields, it can sometimes be found as big oblong brown boulders. On planets that are not dead or barren, it can be found as floating eggs above the surface. These can easily be spotted while cruising around the planet in your ship, so that's the easiest way IMO.Where to find copper?

On an unrelated note, stupid question. Do upgrades stack? The multi tool I bought early on that is much better than the starter has both Beam Intensifier Sigma and Theta (+1/+3) already installed.
