Picked up this new ship with my old guy sitting sad in the back just cause it was cheap and looks cool. Not enough slots though. Still going to wait on a better one.

I hope they make it so icons for POIs go away once you're off planet or at least on a different planet. It sucks seeing a monolith icon I didn't visit on another planet and not being able to turn it off.

My game seems to not be saving properly anymore, even when it hasn't crashed recently. I've exited my ship 3-4 times and flew to a different planet, and just now when I tried reloading my current save it put me back nearly an hour.

This is a bug. I lost 4 hours because of it.

You have to close and restart the game to fix. I tried everything.

I activated this Beacon to call a starship, how come nothing is happening?

A little late on this but turning on a beacon just allows you to land next to it and take off without using fuel to take off. Kinda like landing on a platform. It's a little hard to see but as you get close you'll see a white cross on the floor as you come in to land. Hit the land button and your ship makes a slightly different noise to let you know you're on an official landing spot.

How did I not see this?

When you use the scanner all animals in the vicinity show up as green or red (undiscovered) dots. Just had this pointed out to me. Doh!

100 percented my planet about 2 minutes later lol.

I just wish the scanner would work properly on flying creatures. Having to shoot one down to scan it sucks.

I like this game and have played every day consistently since it came out, but buying a new ship and disassembling the tech on my old one and then needing to find additional resources to get the new ship ready for travel is my most disliked aspect of this game.

I'm already paying 2.5 million units for a new ship. It took me time to get the money to begin with, why do I gotta waste even more time to recreate the upgrades I already created just for the new ship.

Still it was absolutely necessary, I was stuck on a 16 slot ship forever. So the jump to 24 was well worthwhile. Still the whole process is a pain in the ass.

You aren't the first to report this unfortunately. I'd suggest closing down the game fully if you're on PS4 and restarting; there might be some sort of memory corruption issue going on.

I can't believe they shipped the game in this state, I haven't played a game this unstable in years and I've played nearly all the big ones like AC Unity that people had problems with. This is the third time I've lose progress due to crashes or saves just not working

Reposting for a new page. Sorry.

UMMM HALP!!!!!

I just got to the last Atlus station, and when i tried to pick the ending, it wouldn't let me, saying i was one Atlus stone short. ? WTF did i miss something i haven't sold any.

Some please help.

Wait you're supposed to hold on to them?? I've sold 4 I think. Looks like I'm not doing the Atlas thing then.

Is any one else not getting marks for 100% on planets ? i have 3 at 100% so far for animals etc but it has only given me 1 in the log... Or are you only given 1 per system you visit ?

Yup this is the least polished $60 I've played. The amount of crashes are insane.

May have worked perfectly. I seem to get the most crashes when my network goes down on the ps4 which the only fix is to full reboot. Otherwise it runs fine for the most part.

Also water planets are another problem area

Ended up not starting this game up till maybe a week after launch even though I had it delivered same day with amazon. Gotta say, really enjoying it. Yeah the game seems rather simple on the surface but imo it's definitely a "create your own narrative" type of experience, so while I'm having a grand ol time I can understand why someone else may find it boring or whatever.

Also once I finally felt I was getting the hang of the upgrade/inventory management system I began having a lot more fun (mainly because those parts were causing me frustration at first).

Maybe I should have waited until the game had been out a week and then I'd have realised how much Sean Murray had lied about his game. Hey but what can I do, I preordered a game based on lies.

LOL sounds like a rough life kid.

Has anyone seen any creatures with fur? Only seen animals with scales and birds, allthough I've met some very cute ones with sort of a teddy bear build, running around on two legs (but they had scales too).

I'm enjoying the game and isn't bored of it yet, but I do think it's lacking a lot of things that could easily make it a bit more interesing. Like different models for the plutonium etc. Red crystals are fine, but it's something that every planet has that makes it a bit boring. Just a few different models would be cool to get some variation. Same for other materials that always look the same and buildings.

More different sizes for creatures, not just super big but more small ones aswell. I've seen a few small ones, but packs of tiny ones running around would be fun.

Also more different sounds from the creatures, they all make sort of the same similar squealing noises. Roars and barks, growling and hissing and just weird noises would be cool.

Weather! I love the wind effect on the grass and plants when there's a storm, but where is the lightning and thunder? Snow and sandstorms that makes it hard to see?

Different biomes on the planets please, as right now a system feels more like one 'world' and the planets are the different biomes. It doesn't matter where you land on the planet or how much you explore, it's going to be the same biome everywhere anyway.

My one big wish is to be able to choose a home planet or even homesystem where you could set up a base. And you could build a warp drive/create a black hole tunnel/portal or whatever that let's you go back to that planet easily, and back to where you're currently exploring. On your homeplanet you would be able to build a settlement of sorts, maybe aliens would move in/work for you there and you could store stuff. If you found a new planet you like more, you could start a new base there, but would have to let your old one go I guess.

Anyway, I really like the game and I'm impressed by how huge it is. I think it has a lot of potential to be even better though.

They would've been much better doing an Early Access on PC first, getting everything really polished, getting feedback on some of their terrible game mechanic and UI decisions, and then releasing a PS4 version. This is by far the most unstable console game, on any console, I've ever played. Sony should share some blame on this; they should not have allowed the game to release in this state. People who play console games expect them to be reliable, like a kitchen appliance.

Damn! I've fully scanned every animal on this planet and did not receive the bonus for it. How do you do it? This is the second time this has happened to me. My JOURNEY page still says "0" under "Discovered All Species." Is this bugged? This one took me a LONG time as there were 16 different species to find.

So let me get this straight: Stars in this game have different spectral types which affects the environments on the planets orbiting them, but they don't have different sizes?

Sometimes if wish you could eject from your ship at will. I'd love to launch out of my craft and glide to the planet surface below (or plummet to my doom because I didn't manage my jet pack bursts...).

Also, it's probably make for some cool screenshots.

The patch can't come soon enough for me. The game is incredibly unstable now, which really sucks after half a day of being pretty solid. Now any damned thing will crash the game, and I just had the computer hard lock again with that awful audio stuttering noise that lets you know your computer is about to explode.

Any way to disable the hud on PC without having to edit the graphics settings file ? I don't want to have to relaunch the game everytime I want to disable the hud.

Quoting myself for anyone else who might be wondering this. I just figured it out and it's quite absurd. You have to hover the cursor over the "100% Complete" bar and PRESS X NOT SQUARE to upload them all and get credit for it. What the hell...? Why would every other upload be on square but this one thing has to be on X? There isn't even any prompt or indication that you'd have to press X to do it. Lesson learned. Hopefully no one else gets caught up with this as it really isn't trivial to find and scan every species on a planet.

The feels when launching hurls you uncontrollably into space. Its usually not a big deal unless you were fighting off sentinels and sentinel space craft warp in, lol.

So hyped for patch notes - I hope they are as big as the previous one. Also, I hope they didn't waste their time adding in MP or anything like that. QOL and game balances are a lot more important.

Finally got some time to get this started and put some playing time into it. A little disappointed starting out in how it plays. Very sluggish. Makes me not want to explore as much as I probably would if the controls were smoother. That said, it's not a deal breaker. Couple of quick questions: Is there any way to set way points for the items I need? Like set a particular task/quest so that it highlights which items I need? For example right now I need a warp drive, but not sure if that's just something I need to trade/buy or if I need to build it. Second, what does inventory stacking do? Like some of the early impressions I'm struggling a bit with inventory management. I figured stacking would allow you to consolidate multiples of the same item into one space but that doesn't appear to be the case. Also it's a little annoying that it appears you cannot speak to NPCs if your inventory is full? Anyone else have this problem?

Your Exosuit can hold 250 units of any elememt on one grid square, whereas your ship can hold 500 per square. So if you have two squares of plutonium in your suit, you can transfer it all to one square on the ship.

I also found out recently that if you upload your discoveries off planet, then you are locked out from 100% completion there. I had that issue a few days ago, but realized most of the discoveries I did were off world. You have to cover them while there or else they don't count for some odd reason. Haven't had any completion issues since. Other than the stupid birds.

It happens way more when I am on my way to another POI and then I lose all my '?' and end up several km off of my original spot.

It's still sluggish but don't forget the melee+booster trick. Hit melee and immediately hit your booster while pressing forward (even better when sprinting) and you'll get a huge forward air boost. Much quicker than running alone.

There is a little white bar at the bottom of each slot. If you have 2 of the same item with half of a bar, you could stack them. Only 250 per slot. Your ship can carry 500.

If you highlight whatever it is you need from your crafting menu and press triangle or the equivalent on PC it will give you a reminder prompt on the bottom right hand side of the screen of what you need. It will not shoe up in the form of any waypoints though.

You need to learn the fast glide by sprinting and then pressing R1 (melee) then immediately after pressing boost. You will glide through the air like a titan in destiny.

I think i might be done with this game.

Having one less Atlus stone then i was supposed to, even though i haven't sold a single one. Really took the wind out of my sails.

Does anyone know how i can find an Atlus station. Please.

Good point. I've found once I've stabilized, going straight down asap gets me back to relatively close to where I was if tracking a poi.
