I get the feeling that North Korea is relying too heavily on China's backing when they pull shit like this.

In China's view, is this little asshole of a country really worth jeopardizing their diplomatic and trade relationships?

I don't know, although lately it seems like China has been pretty tired of North Korea's bullshit. But if bullets start flying will they flex their "emerging superpower" muscles? We'll see.

Hopefully this skirmish doesn't escalate any further and the North realizes that it would be pretty dumb to do so.
