Never mind old man Stinger's theme, I'm still trying to figure out Rowan's new theme, I kinda like it but it seems like it's missing a point where it takes off and packs that extra bit of punch.

At first, though he got a re-done version at some point (which I preferred).
Bischoff used free music for a lot of the WCW themes. Pat Tanaka used to come out to Goldberg's theme.
I imagine Sting's theme is one of the ones that actually cost money to use so WWE probably just didn't want to pay royalties.
But they've used it on TV for the 2K advertisements and in the game itself. And on WWE.com. And as entrance music for him at the 2K roster reveal.
Sting used Metallica once as his theme.
Cheap fucks. They buy one for Cm Punk but not Sting?
Could be that 2K paid for usage?

That was an actual rights problem. They used his WCW theme at first then lost the rights to it, so they did a Jimmy Hart soundalike.
I don't even remember the music. It just sounded super generic like anyone could have come out to it.
It's a big deal. Just imagine HBK, Stone Cold, Hogan coming back and you hear something besides their iconic music.
I don't know. It bothers me.
