November Wrasslin |OT| CM Punk's Countdown to RESPECT

Eh. They bring in new talent but they do fuck all with them.

They are horrible at booking most of the time and in the end they will all go down to Cena or not look that good next to him.

Sandow? Big push.
Bryan? Main event for most of the year.
AJ? First woman to main event Raw since Trish and Lita left.
Cesaro? One of the few heels that wins cleanly.
Ryback? Getting the Goldberg push.

I'm with you on every point you made, except this one. They're making an effort to get new guys over to flesh out their roster, it's the only good thing they're trying to do.

Isn't that HHH's new mandate from earlier this year, that people aren't to be brought up from development unless there's a plan and gimmick for them?

I want to defend you, simply because you're my Newcastle brethren, but this is probably the most active WWE have been with 'fresh faces' for nearly a decade!

Bryan hasn't been in the main event for most of the year. Not even Punk has.

Yeah yeah, Cena had the last match. The storyline focus of Raw and Smackdown has been on Punk and Bryan. To me, that is main eventing. The main event is what the viewer looks forward to most, not the order of the matches on Sunday. It's not even that they advertise the order of the matches before the PPV anymore anyways.

Main event as in challenging for or being a world champion

Yeah but that's not the actual definition of "main event".

I get what you're saying but then Kane would be the main event if we look at it from SoulPlaya's perspective of "what the viewer looks forward to most".

Majority rules of course.

And yes, for two months, Kane was the main attraction as well.

Hell, AJ making out with Kane is probably one of the most memorable segments of 2012.

More JBL is always good.

WM 29 bus:

Wow, CM Punk can't even make it on a bus anymore. #disrespect.

LOL Bryan and AJ get on the bus but no CM Punk DAMN. Props to both for making it on, but the biggest insult is Big show. BIG SHOW in 2012 let alone 2013!

Also the one thing i like about Chikara is that there DVD covers usually don't look like porn videos unlike 100% of all indy promotions

Pff, that's the best!

I think world champion/feuding with world champion is main event, regardless if they aren't the final match on the card. Plenty of times in the past 20-30 years in WWE alone where the champion wasn't the last match on the card, on house shows, TV, and PPV.

Rock, Orton, Ziggler, HHH, Undertaker and Punk are probably on the other side.

Fuck that.

I watch for the hillbilly soap opera!

Why else would I watch two men pretend to fight? The Shinanigans are what make WWE worthwhile!

I like that part of it too. I wonder when people started to forget that wrestling is supposed to be fun.

you know what's weird

Cena made no mention at all about losing the WWE title match nor about those guys jumping Ryback.

Suckas gots to know if Cena respects those guys.

He's too busy calling Vickie fat, to worry about those dudes from NXT. Important business here.

Just how he likes his women, that John

- They were pushing Sandow, if you wanna call it that, in tag competition. They weren't getting much over Hell No, which was a bit unfortunate.
- Deserves to be headlining a lot, but is relegated to tag duty.
- Don't care.
- Heels who are new and get a new push always win cleanly. Give it time.
- Don't care, he's awful. That's like arguing its a positive they pushed The Great Khali. No, it's not.

I can name at least ten or so they've squandered solely on booking. You can barely name many that they've succeeded with outright. They usually take a new guy and give a random push, take a dump on him, and then rise him up a bit (Punk, Sheamus).
