Yep I was impressed. That and the first spear looked insane. Not too bad for a guy with severe pain in his shoulder. I'm really curious if Goldberg shows up at the Rumble, Brock screws him, and we get the actual match at Mania when Dadberg is actually physically able to work a match.
Yet they gave the rub to a 50 year old man.

Yes, my point is they have NO-ONE. They should do, one of the members of the shield or Zayn or whoever should have beat him last year.
But they do such a garbage job at building babyfaces that there is no one now, or on the horizon ready to beat him, and with each month that passes it means less.

You guys are looking into this too much. The match happened that way because that is what Vince thinks a good Goldberg match was. Think about it, most Goldberg matches were squashes and the ones that weren't weren't that great beyond the spear and jackhammer. Goldberg was at his best when he'd come in, squash fools and leave. I had a feeling this could happen the whole time given that the whole bit was for his kid and how WWE is about appealing to kids.
Also, given the year Lesnar has had, a squash vs Goldberg doesn't hurt him in the long run.
