Their most over faces, ironically, are heels. There's a case to be made that KO, Jericho, and Styles are probably the most over full-timers in the company right now.

Doesnt help that Owens and Jericho try so hard to be funny.

AJ Styles is too talented to boo, but he also has weak opponents in guys like Ambrose, who isn't as likeable as some think. He looked like a total moron and jealous douche yesterday.

AJ vs. Taker or AJ vs. Michaels would be such good matches... WWE just doesnt have that many good faces or know how to write them. Nakamura is probably the one other good face right now besides Rollins

That's an understatement. There is no top babyface for KO beyond Seth Rollins, and no top babyface for AJ Styles beyond Dean Ambrose.

Raw could have really used Finn Balor though, he was that top babyface they're missing and that first night on Raw was hot fire. Damn shame.

Too bad face Balor is kind of boring :/

With WWE all the discussion is based around wishing and hoping. Then the disappointment sets it, its shrugged off then the wishing and hoping begins again.

It would help of the wishing was at least somewhere in the realm of possibility. I mean, Joe taking out Brock?

Some people on social media seem to think Brock had to be pissed over being told to lose. It's Brock. A two-minute long match where he scoops up a million or two has to be his dream match whether he wins or loses.

It really is weird they spent Bork's rub on Goldberg, something just isn't right about it.

We're all expecting it to be wasted on The Rock or some other old 'WWE born' idiot, but then Goldberg randomly shows up and squashes him of all things lol.

I don't even really like Goldberg (don't hate him, just indifferent) but as a WCW mark I'll take it! WE WON HUHWHAHAHAUAHA!

I guess it was all done just to help sell the videogame or something?

Anytime he shows up now or Heyman tries to speak the crowd are gonna be like GOOOOOOOOOOOLDBERG!

Spears Brock took vs Roman: 18 or something. Roman lost.
Spears Brock took vs Goldberg: 2.
F5's Roman took: 3. And Roman didn't even lose to Brock.
F5's everyone else takes: 1.

That's what rubs me the wrong way about it being a squash match. I'm actually ok with Goldberg going over, the problem is how it was handled. Basically it shows that the only reason why Brock was untouchable for quite a long time is because everyone else in the roster suck. The top stars were squashed by Brock, from the Undertaker and Cena to Roman and Rollins, then Goldberg squashed Brock. Unless Goldberg passes that to someone else, the heat will be just wasted without giving the rub to any possible new star and making them look weak in the process.

Are these heels booed or cheered?

Are heels and faces even a thing in a world where it isn't clear cut?

The moment Roman is turned heel, will the boos carry on or with they turn to cheers?

I'd say Charlotte, Miz, the Revival and Sheamus are probably the only actual heels WWE have in terms of fan reaction being negative. They get the boos and do the heel things. Jericho is never gonna get booed with the list and the catchphrases and Owens won't so long as he keeps going along with the idea that he's gonna get heat for doing goofy shit in the ring when he clearly won't because the fans are entertained by it. And AJ's just too good a wrestler for people to want to boo him.

wait a minute

for some of you guys, the Emmalina hype is not ironic? lmao
For me it's less hype and more the fact that I really like Emma and I hope that they haven't actually decided to saddle her with what looks to be a model gimmick that will probably be dead on arrival.

I'm a mark :(

Also, it should be a rule that whenever a wrestler or manager rings the timeskeeper's bell during the match, the match and title if there is a title on the line are forfeit.

Yes. That was a very bad finish. The real villain was the referee who didn't temporarily stop the competition, didn't give the competitors a heads up nor restarted the match after seeing that someone not involved in the match cheated. He is a terrible professional who should be fired, basically.

Those finishes never turn out well, IMO. Didn't they do that with someone not too long ago?

Do you follow the weekly shows as well or is this based on the PPV? I think SD has been very enjoyable since the split.
Just the PPVs, I haven't watched RAW in over a year. I haven't even watched SS yet (other than Brock v Goldberg) I don't think I can be bothered, it sounds like the same old shit.

Got it. It's understandable to think that way and I agree with you to some extent, however, If you ever feel like it, you should give SmackDown a shot. More often than not they are able to pull off a decent show.
