No one realises what they had until it was gone.

Though in 1997 people could remember the main events of PPVs from the big 2 without having to look that shit up, it was all taken for granted.

Obviously Mojo is terrible. But he's also started to look terrible - awful outfits, and he's got quite the jiggly tummy going on these days. He just looks like he's getting less fit, somehow.

I don't think I've heard his name mentioned on SD or on podcasts or on this forum in at least 2 months. I thought I'd forgotten him getting an injury or something but nope it's just irrelevance. AC has to be the worst NXT call-up so far.

Actually, you should stop watching it. Other people actually enjoy it, you just watch it for Naito and bitch about everything else. The constant negativity is beyond tiring.

Also, it's the World Tag League, who gives a fuck? Plus you know Naito can't win because he has to defend the IC title at the Tokyo Dome.

Brand New Gate was more great fun from Dragon Gate, they are on a pretty fantastic run of consistently enjoyable shows. Enjoying the new VerserK lineup with Lindaman and T-Hawku~. Interested to see what the new unit ends up being with so many free agents right now.

That seems to happen with a lot of call ups due to no longer having a set routine and easy workout access at the Performance Center.

i mean in 2013 Okada and Tana finished second last and last in their groups respectively. Styles came last in 2015 in his block I think.

idk I guess, I'm just not that attached to Rush. Doesn't seem like that big a deal to me, especially if they are committed to keeping the Bullet Club around in something more than an obligatory, zombie like state.

I know the New Generation era gets shit on, but 94-97 is my favorite era. It started for me with Wrestlemania X and while it was bumpy at times, man was some of it just so good.

New Generation is great, warts and all. The best wrestling is when you have a small, plucky roster that you basically have your 5 or so guys and you book everything around them. Razor, Diesel, Shawn, Bret, Owen, Yoko, Taker and Kid. It's easy to map out a storyline when you know where your focus is. Which is why I also enjoyed pre-Hogan WCW so much. Vader, Sting, Flair, Rude, Luger and Steiners. Though they had more of a revolving door of old WWF guys like Jake

The thing is, given his G1 run, there's a shot that Nakajima could go to NJPW as well. Not as likely as Suzuki but still a slim chance.

I think that's just it, everything was so much more focused. Even as the roster began to expand in 96/97 everything still felt more focused, even in WCW (pre-NWO expansion). Perhaps this is why Smackdown feels like the much better show, there is a focus (tag team excluded) because the roster is smaller.

I still enjoy Smackdown but Ambrose is just annoying.

And James has stayed on for too long. He is great in small doses but I mean, this is too much.

The show is still great and much better than Raw which I can't even get past the opening segment.

I'd probably be on board with this poorly booked Alliance business if Austin insisted on being called "Stunning" Steve Austin after defecting. But no! Another missed opportunity.
