The official Twitter/Instagram didnt post anything about Patch 1.3 before this. Nada.

So yeah, "kid", silence. "Troling"my ass

Are they going to patch any RPG elements in the game that… you know, was sold like an RPG?

Game has dialog choices, different equipment, leveling, stat upgrades and abilities (with different levels etc.) weapon upgrades etc. This mostly covers what rpg games are doing. What else do you want?

Edit: oh and crafting.

Game has dialog choices

This is the biggest lie of this game.

different equipment, leveling, stat upgrades and abilities (with different levels etc.) weapon upgrades
Assassin's Creed n°1758 has this too, and it's far from being an RPG.

What else do you want?
A good game, I want them to keep their promise of "the next generation of RPG's" like they said.
I want REAL choices that clearly impact the story,
I want to see some life in Night City.
I stop here because the list is too long and you most likely know all this stuff already, everything has been said.

If you enjoyed the game it's fine, but it's not an RPG. Even CDPR know this as they call it an "action-adventure story"

Based on their roadmap and relase history they probably have 1 more "patch" left for this year so either we get the promised current gen update in October/November or it gets pushed to 2022 because "muh covid" or some shit.

choices dont matter in this game , they matter just as much as they did in fallout 4

Posts list of Cdpr patching their game then says its silence lol

I just looked at reports from the patch: it'll never get fixe. The whole code structure is a huge mess, and that's not the fault of the developers but either the lead technical, or executive director. They had no actual "vision", just ideas that nobody was in charge of tying together and interfacing with the different teams.

But I have a solution that is a bit polemic: how about CPDR opens the development/fixing of the game to the public as in modders, freelancers, hobbyists? This is the only way to save the game at this point given how CPDR is management for speculative profit.

Wow the way morons blow this out of proportion is nuts. The game's great, it just gets buggy if you try to play it like a GTA game, which it isn't.
There's a lot of hyperbole around about this game but it is a bit of a disaster. Basically, CD Project came out and overhyped and promised a lot, then underdelivered. Aside from being more than just pretty janky at times (it's a mess) there's a lot of stuff about they said this game would have that is flat out not there, and other things that games were doing better nearly 15 years ago (GTAIV).

you're waiting for something that is not coming if you think they're gonna rebuild thing into anything remotely like what they promised. It would have to take the award for the biggest gaming disappointment of all time.

Damn, really? Over launch day / year of No Man's Sky? I remember that list of over promised features was like 400 items long.

As I said, the only things GTA 4 does better is extraneous stuff that doesn't matter. Who cares if bullets don't make convincing splashes when you shoot in to water? In terms of story and gameplay (the parts that actually matter) CP2077 is way better.

You have choices and they make impact on missions and their outcomes. You make some artificial bar on "how much".

You can say that games like Fahrenheit/Heavy Rain/Detroit are RPG because they have fuck ton of choices that make huge impact on the story (Detroit in particular). But those games are entirely designed around this and suffer from not much gameplay as a result.

AC games since Odyssey can be treated like RPGs, you have choices, stats and all elements that are usually assigned with RPG games. ACV even won some "best RPG" awards...

You had some imagine vision of this game fueled by some dumb CDPR statements and real game couldn't match this, and it never will. I waited for CP for years but didn't have expectations like it's the second coming of Jesus or something...

I just played it, like they promise stealth detection is a lot more intense on maximum difficulty, it's asking my to dial up my stealth and misdirection/timing even more now #cp2077hellaunderrateddeusexgame

They havent said shit for months. Facts.

Since the last hotfix, they havent told us when thr patch was gonna drop, IF they were working on a pstch, DLC plans, nothing.

Only some shit stats about the game that no one cares about

Dont know why you are trying to be such a smartass, since it well known that they were in silence this whole time

Just like the No Mans Sky team before the game was up to snuff, they kept their heads down working on the game. I dont need to know when the next patch is coming, i have plenty of faith the game will be even better when its all patched up.

Having said that I had plenty of fun in my 110, hour playthrough on pc :)

NMS delivered 2 full expansions on this same time period

In 8 months, CDPR have fixed many bugs, but delivery almost nothing in terms of new mechanics. A company many, many times bigger than Hello Games.

They have been quiet, but they havent been delivering

PS: I also have enjoyed my 90h with it. I'm just telling it for what it is.

Based on your logic the Witcher 3 isn't an rpg either

I know that :(

No, there is only a few choices that matter and they are all at the end. We all played the same adventure: the story of V.

You can say that games like Fahrenheit/Heavy Rain/Detroit are RPG because they have fuck ton of choices
Again, no you can't said that. I talk about choices but that's far from being the only thing lacking in this game for it to be a RPG.

ACV even won some "best RPG" awards...

Those type of awards are bullshit I hope you know that., and this is a perfect example.

You had some imagine vision of this game fueled by some dumb CDPR statements and real game couldn't match this, and it never will. I waited for CP for years but didn't have expectations like it's the second coming of Jesus or something...
I had expectations too, and they were not met by a very large margin. This doesn't mean I hated my time on this game, just that CDPR lied (a lot) even just weeks before the release and I will remember that on the future.

Based on your logic the Witcher 3 isn't an rpg either
Haha, the famous case. Personally I'd say it's an action/adventure game, so no it's not a RPG. Biggest thing to retain is you play as Geralt, who has an established story.
I still love this game.

Seems perfectly fine on ps4 based on the stream I am watching, I made it this far though, going to hold out for a ps5 and next gen version

It's nice to see they're at least making progress (for the most part), but holy shit these fixes are coming slow.

My guess, and CDPR will probably never admit this, is that they've been putting a majority of work into the DLC with bug fixes taking the back seat.

Ok so Cyberpunk and Witcher 3 (!!) aren't RPGs to you? 😂

Please list games you see as RPGs.

This will be good.
