115k,not as bad as i thought but that new sku was definitely needed. COD still strong i see and surprised infamous didn't chart again.
What do you mean with again? It's the second NPD and it charted the first time.

What does that even mean?
? I think you know why
lol and that was with MS "hiding" TF for 360 so the hype alone certainly did that no?What are you talking about? Titanfall is #1 on the software chart...
Well that's intriguing
Is PS4 really still having trouble keeping up with demand? Cause ~200K seems like low output.
Exactly my thoughts. Make fun of Yusuf all you want, there's at least of hint of truth to his words. One sales might begin to really climb when 7th gen actually starts to end.As much as I think it was a dumb claim to make for the sake of PR, that chart is showing a lot of people still happy with their 360s as a primary game system. Considering the length of the previous generation, I'm a little surprised.
I can't see how. Did any games release for it in April?
I assume this guy is reliable, so here is the answer for those infamous questions
Okay seriously am I reading a different chart here?
It's at the top.
Source?
Infamous SS didn't chart? What the hell are the PS4 users playing? Twitch Plays Pokemon?

Not yet.
so Yoshi did better than Infamous this month?
maybe it's doing fine here in America too, lol
What a plot twist. And we all thought Infamous bombed.
PS4 still top-selling
X1 ~111k
That explains the price drop and early announcement, I was sure April numbers were awful

May is going to be a disaster for MS with everyone waiting for that price cut in June. They should have waited for E3 to announce or make it effective immediately.
"PS4 software combined with Xbox One software sales are up over 40 percent compared to sales of the PS3 and Xbox 360 through their first six months" -NPD
Shouldn't be able to get aprox. PS4 numbers given the facts above?
am bad at math >.<
Unless that number 1 spot is a lot higher than expected, no. PC sales at retail are basically zilch.I wonder if Titanfall 360 first month > Titanfall XB1 first month. Probably not?
Why is it surprising that inFamous : SS outsold Titanfall?
What a plot twist. And we all thought Infamous bombed.
I guess in July MS will be offering X1 for $399 with free game or $349.
3 games per console is insane software attach rate.
Regardless for the rest of us it's frustrating how opaque NPD is. It's what gave rise to the likes of chartz from people desperate to get exact numbers. I guess it's about how those organizations are run or something, NPD may be more dependent on getting people to pay them than the others are, and thus need to hold a key selling point ransom.Blame Sony for that. I believe they were the ones that wanted it nixed after the PS3 was always absent on the list last gen. (Or was it publishers, since it was EA dominated or some shit?)
Don't feel bad, you may not be bad at mathbut you might be bad at reading...
wat...
Supply constraints are mostly history. They're on shelves all over the place.
Yoshi is #1 top selling next gen game?

I dunno... I kind of feel like Titanfall caters to the Xbox One install base as a whole more than inFamous SS to PS4 install base as a whole.I am not surprised by SS outpacing Titanfall for X1 given the higher install base of PS4.
It sold over 1 mio. copies in its first 9 days (worldwide). What a plot twist. And we all thought Infamous bombed.
I talk to a lot of people at work. And A LOT of people haven't upgraded yet. They are still waiting.
In fact: The majority of the people haven't upgraded.
Sony hasn't won this gen yet.
They need games. Good games. And they need them YESTERDAY!
What? Who all thought that?
The bulk of Console owners do not upgrade until years in to the new Cycle.

xbone needs to sell more. 1 race pony is no good
Oh hey, Medhi has a NeoGAF account. The only reason the PS4 is selling so well is due to the PS3 being awful. Everyone who owned one is ditching it ASAP to buy the next gen Playstation. Once the PS3 owners have all migrated, the PS4 sales will fall off a cliff.
I've seen the data points that prove this.
