NPD Sales Results for December 2013 [Up2: Xbox One/360 HW, 3DS top system of year]

Mario Party DS sold about 8.21 million WW as of March 2011.

.....well blow me down and color me surprised. I would've never guessed that. Mario Party just seems like more of a home console franchise to me.

8.21m is close to what the 2 Wii installments did, saleswise?

Aww yeah, screw waiting for the WiiU number, I got my number. (I'm assuming this is an okay number for what this game is.)

I think it is, the series has always been pretty niche. Devinitely deserves more, as the best jrpg series though v_v. Is this physical only? I imagine us digital buyers are a nice chunk too.

Ugh, why did Hatsune Miku Project Diva F do so poorly.
I still think we'll get future titles (since Project Diva f is coming), but I doubt we'll get physical copies.

Was wondering if this SMT4 number was good. Really enjoyed that game along with Soul Hackers. So if SMT5 or any other one came out I'm onboard day one.

It's pretty good for the series. I think it was probably helped by the rebate special offer when you bought both FE:A and SMTIV, actually both series probably benefited from that deal.

Xbox has:

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Project Spark
Kinect Sports Rivals
D4?

And if we're talking multiplats, there:

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
Thief
MGS: Ground Zeroes

thanks... kinda decent with TitanFall holding it up the first half of 2014?

ANNNND, no price drops too :p Everybody bought it at full price. I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Also, for some context on those Atlus games, these are the numbers they were posting on DS (creamsugar posted these back in July)...
tc:uk ~ 233k
tc:utk2 ~ 88k
smt:ds ~ 61k
eo ~ 35k
eo2 ~ 34k
smt:ds2 ~ 33k
smt:sj ~ 28k
eo3 ~ 22k

And at $40, Atlus has to be very happy.

Wow, ...so EO4 was pretty much in line with expectations, then, and SMT probably sold above expectations (and remember that game launched at 50 bucks!).

...whats TC:UK?

So if you include the Fire Emblem hardware bundle + digital sales the game has to be over 500k right? Possibly closer to 600k?
