Sometimes you have to make the big play at corporate, to sell a game before its ready because you believe you can weather the storm. Unfortunately it looks like that gamble didn't work.

It's 500 k just from Europe and US imo counting digital, WW i'd say it will be 1 million soon, I could be nuts though and totally out to lunch..

It's somewhat ironic ROTR and SFV both ended up within very close sales proximities to each other.
Pokken is a system seller to me.
The amount of money Nintendo could print by making a Pokemon RPG for Wii U/NX is insane.
more than the 10-15million sales they made on the 3DS (or any handheld) with a fraction of the dev costs??
There aren't even 15 million Wii Us...

Considering the demographics that own WiiUs and their engagement with Nintendo IP, id consider it to be a certainty.
I would even argue that Pokken might be the second best selling fighter this gen, after MKX.
Really the only thing stopping it is whether it gets a launch day NX port or not.
What was SF4 launch before? (i know its not console exclusive)

So is Monster Hunter their only relevant franchise now.
THe 360 was regularly up YoY whereas the XB1 is now regularly significantly down YoY and wasnt that far ahead of the 360 to begin with. It will fall below 360 sales long before we see the kinect bump.

I mean in terms of selling hardware.
I have many friends who have completely lost touch with Nintendo but would line up in the cold at midnight if NX had such a title.

360 was available for as low as $279 by Feb 2008. 360 has a price advantage against the XB1
Is that worse than the first one?
S2/2017 should get the Super title and have a re-release that includes the S1 characters for a soft relaunch.

Well that wasnt great to begin with.
Even a 3D remake of Pokemon Red/Blue exploring Kanto in an RPG setting would probably make me cry with happiness.
Ive waited every E3 for something like that.

That's incredibly awesome. It shows Nintendo and Intsys that there's demand for hardass classic Fire Emblem.
Same as I feel for Trails of Cold Steel, I think that one is so low profile it missed cream's third-party radar
Yeah, it could be an attraction to bolster a lineup.
I just don't see TPC putting their main team on it, when they could be making another handheld entry.
The best you'd get would be a lower budget, condensed RPG, made by an off-team like genius sonority. Made just well enough to sell a million or even two. Would the masses be satisfied with that? Hm, dunno. GAF definitely wouldn't
