An Xbox version would have changed close to nothingWow, making SFV a PS4 console exclusive seems to not have paid off at all for Capcom.

Neither do I. Hopefully Final Round tourney play will bring some people around.I don't think SFV failed as miserably as I thought it would. It actually did ok. If the game launched with the upcoming march patch I think today we would be seeing a different NPD list.
PS4 is kicking it into high gear. Honestly if I didn't have an Xbox One now I would build a PC instead, but I'm sure Microsoft doesn't mind much.
Wow, making SFV without key features that are desired by the casual audience seems to not have paid off at all for Capcom.
I didn't know they allowed party games at EVO every year.
Wish we could make a thread to discuss SFV franchise sales decline. I think theres a discussion to be had there about cause and effect.
So wait, are we now living in a world where Fire Emblem is a bigger seller than Street Fighter in the West

Well that wasnt great to begin with.
Even a 3D remake of Pokemon Red/Blue exploring Kanto in an RPG setting would probably make me cry with happiness.
Ive waited every E3 for something like that.
360 was available for as low as $279 by Feb 2008. 360 has a price advantage against the XB1
Very niche title. Not too surprising.
If we are going by software releases and their ability to increase hardware, what is the next month where the X1 realistically has a chance to outsell PS4?

I'm willing to bet EA envisioned a bigger opening thatn 18K for PvZ2. Esp with the endcaps they bought in major retailers (Target/BestBuy at least I saw) and other marketing.
The XB1 would be up YoY if it was below $299. It hasn't received a price cut in over a year. Just arguing that part.Ok. I dont see hwo that goes against what I'm saying though. THe whole conversation started because I said XB1 will fall below 360 LTD in the next few months and people decided to tell me how that wouldn't happen because 360 didnt sell well until kinect. I corrected them by saying it was regularly up YoY and insisted that Xb1 will fall below 360 within the next few months. Soooo while totally accurate I'm not understanding what the price differential has to do in he context of the conversation.
P&Z:GW 2 sold more in UK?
Wasn't there one made for Halo? Just the chart position and news about Naruto outselling it on the same platform should be enough.

2 million is shipped projection as of Mar 31st.Steam is at about 130k. I'd say its probably 500k at best with all Digital sales included. Really dont see it hitting that 2million mark.

So is Monster Hunter their only relevant franchise now.

???
We already know that the game didnt set the PC charts on fire.
Didn't it sell like 100k on PC world wide...
I'd say that Resident Evil is much bigger than Monster Hunter.
owning both I can say Naruto is the better bang for the buck.
The fact that this this is a "should" is astonishing.Combined PC/PS4 sales should put SFV over Fire Emblem.
I don't think quantum break had much of a chance against cod bundle. The gap is fairly big so far in 2016. Especially not at the same price.Next month had a decent chance but that got obliterated with Quantum Break going PC and MS PR torpedoing the desire to own a X1 right now. That and Sony will have MLB the show in its second week and R&C that month. I would not be surprised if both sell better than Quatum break retail for April.
Combined PC/PS4 sales should put SFV over Fire Emblem.
