If we go the digital route there is now way that SFV is outselling Fates because how you can buy 1 version an the rest as DLC lolCombined PC/PS4 sales should put SFV over Fire Emblem.

The power of face petting.
Well not really.
Not really. Your wife still asks you to breathe into the 3DS microphone to cool her down after a hot bath, so uh
wew @ sony's attempt to buy into the fighting game market killing its biggest franchise instead. rip a bit.
Well not really. That's been removed in the West.
Lol, that makes more sense.that is project x Zone 2 not plants vs zombies garden warfare 2, i made the same mistake when i first saw it too
Huh.Sad about SF but this trend will continue I feel. People don't like to lose and need to be coddled. This new gen of phone game, pay to win, people will reject even more.
No way to make people accept losing unless COD model. Make you feel good, and give buffs, if your garbage with perks.
Hasn't that been removed for the western copies.
owning both I can say Naruto is the better bang for the buck.
Worldwide Steam sales are at 129k.Combined PC/PS4 sales should put SFV over Fire Emblem.
Bigger at highs.
MH is highly consistent annually.

Has NBA 2K officially surpassed Madden as the king of sports video games?
Lol...why wouldn't they? Will retail even be on board to carry a new SKU of Street Fighter V at this point tho?

Very surprised by Naruto. Didn't know it was that popular here.
Going by Steamspy numbers SFV's legs are already showing. The game will be fine as time goes on, but that 2 million by March forecast is donezo
Will retail even be on board to carry a new SKU of Street Fighter V at this point tho?
Y'all gonna stop underestimating anime/manga! Learn it!
Not surprised about SFV's sales. That's what happens when you ship a game that doesn't have enough to fulfill the masses. I know plenty of people who would have bought a copy had it been filled with content.
Capcom's gotta release a Super Street Fighter V or something, just name the "complete edition year 1" Super and see what happens.
Jesus, those are horrid sales.
I'm willing to bet EA envisioned a bigger opening thatn 18K for PvZ2. Esp with the endcaps they bought in major retailers (Target/BestBuy at least I saw) and other marketing.
Interestingly, not.Combined PC/PS4 sales should put SFV over Fire Emblem.
People just like games that have actual content in them. I've put over fifty hours into the steam version of SFV, but there ain't shit to do besides online 1v1 and the worst survival mode I've ever played in my life just for some lousy colors.Sad about SF but this trend will continue I feel. Doesn't really sound like they're waiting till the next cycle. It's a bit too late now and I suspect everyone at Microsoft knows it. All they can really do is make up some ground on PC and wait till the next console cycle.
Will retail even be on board to carry a new SKU of Street Fighter V at this point tho?

You have to start to genuinely ask what the future of the Xbox brand is. Big shake ups coming I'm sure, as we are seeing with MS shifting to a PC / Windows 10 focus

No fucking waySF5 < 210K
Do we even have any instances where complete editions of games sold more than the launch edition?I can't believe how some people act dead surprised by the retail sales of SFV. It's one of those titles that will sell well digital. Who's gonna buy a physical disc when 50-60% of the game is missing? Capcom should have waited till end of April for release. This game will have legs. As soon as the content arrives sales will pick up and a complete edition will sell great!
Interestingly, not.
Close but not over.
We dont know if Capcom stuffed the channels in a way that retailers would not want another SKU if they still have tons of unsold copies of the previous one.lol are people serious? Retailers carry games that don't even break the top 40. The hyperbole is off the charts, next people will be saying all SFV copies were bought by capcom and sony agents.
So wait, are we now living in a world where Fire Emblem is a bigger seller than Street Fighter in the West
It's not like Steam only exists in the USA lol?
210 + 129 = 339
339 > 315
Only other factor is digital
It is to be expected whenever you have that "it" game during a certain period. The same happened with Tomb Raider.lol are people serious? Retailers carry games that don't even break the top 40. The hyperbole is off the charts, next people will be saying all SFV copies were bought by capcom and sony agents.
Wonder if they'll change their minds on not doing any other editions. They really need to do one.

They wanted to ship 2 million copies. We dont know if Capcom stuffed the channels in a way that retailers would not want another SKU if they still have tons of unsold copies of the previous one.
As long as they sold most of the copies they shipped I am sure they will be fine but they also wanted to sell 2 million copies of this one.
