LBP and KillZone 2 also had terrible openings then. But both ended up selling decently. So I think we'll have to wait a bit before calling Forza 3 a bomb, right Mr Sony PR guy?
Well, they did have terrible openings (According to GAF), so yeah. And of course waiting is always good, but we're not focusing on 12 months from now when we see sales for this month, we're talking about this month. As I said, Forza 3 had a terrible
opening. We'll see if it sells terribly in the future. And for the record, LBP and KZ2 did have bad first month figures.

They both ended selling +1 million didn't them?
WW yes, but we don't know about specifically in NA. I haven't a clue, but probably not.

It's a bit unfortunate given all the talk Turn10 talked, but in fairness, something like LBP for example may have continued to bubble away long after it dropped off our sales radar. It certainly did in other territories, and ultimately accumulated good sales (and continues to grow).
So I wouldn't write it off just like that, you never know, F3 may keep bubbling.
Agreed on both fronts. I said it had a terrible opening, but we'll see if it sells better in the future, I'm sure it will, but my opinion stands. :/

Forza 2 posted a higher second months NPD than it did the first month that it was released.
As I stated here, and what you quoted, it had a terrible
opening.
